To be honest, I want to move to vancouver so bad and live a cosmopolitan life. Problem is, I dislike just jumping into things even though I realize it's almost certain I will obtain a job there in short order, I prefer to have things lined up in advance, but obtaining employment when you are not residing there is tricky.
And reddit canada is full of numbnuts even craigslist is better to talk to people
): no you, user. at least we're not paying millions per month for a closet apartment.
Grayson Cruz
Move to victoria then. the cost is all overrated. Everyone these days is pretty much a liar when they scream about rent. Course, they lie for a good reason, everyone should do whatever they can to make things better for themselves, but it gives an incorrect view of reality. I live just fine and dandy in the slums of victoria.
I'm living rural near Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Originally from Regina.
Nolan Nelson
GTA-bot here, whats good canucks?
Jordan Martinez
How long you been living there? And don't worry, Regina will be exactly the same if you come back
Wyatt Robinson
I've been here for 5 years now, but I lived here before, on and off. I can't say I miss Regina at all. I'm glad I'm gone, but I'm thinking about going back, desu.
Austin Stewart
do you know anywhere that buys fetuses
Kevin Edwards
Lived in Calgary my whole life. Its nice being close to the mountains and stuff for outdoor pursuits. But everyone here is a wannabe cowboy/girl. I hate the whole vibe of the city. Calgary likes to pretend its a bigger deal on the wold stage than it really is.
Nicholas Williams
I work it IT. Are there jobs out there? Id like a comfy IT job so I can live comfortably by myself.
Isaiah Torres
It's nice because it's still technically a city so you get the box stores. But it's still so lame Big Rick behind Value Village.
Oliver Bennett
Get the job first, then move. It had better be a good job, or else you'll be sharing a moldy basement the entire time. Also, it rains a lot.
Brandon Hughes
I couldn't ask for anything more from Regina; it has all the things I require. I have no aspirations for large cities. Regina is too big alreay, imo. I don't like it because it's not safe and sorta shitty in that sense. I do however like Waskana and the parks we have, along with the other at Waskana.
Michael Smith
Nah, I live pretty cheaply. No girlfriend, or car, and everything I want to play or watch is free on the internet. I wasn't even working five days a week before cause I straight up didn't need to. I do now though cause the boss wanted me to.
I was thinking of living out aways from the city but near a train stop. There's apartments there that are cheap.
Camden Richardson
>tfw Tragically Hip is mediocre >tfw Bare Naked Ladies are unironically better (but they're not very good anyways) >tfw Rush is horrible and are one of the only bands for which the criticism "pretentious" actually applies
That's what I heard, I wasn't sure if it was just Edmonton people meme-ing about Calgary people though. Cowboy culture is cancer, and I even grew up on a farm.
Julian Ortiz
this game is set in Canadian Rockies and has a nice ethereal intro song
Totally fair, as pissed as I am at the traffic I know I've been spoiled by it. You can't get to the other side of any other city in 20 minutes. I've been considering moving to Saskatoon because it's basically just a bigger Regina. And you're right, wascana is beautiful, it's great in the summer time.
Cooper James
godspeed you! black emperor is the best Canadian band dummy
Owen Parker
Ah, this girl asked me to join her in a scheme to sell fetuses. Took me a while to get it, cause I said: Oh, you're thinking of being a surrogate mother, you mean? and she said no. And I said: Oh, you mean, selling your eggs then? and she said no.
Anyway I don't think it will work.
Landon Morales
Feels good to meet someone from the same city I'm from. Do you remember those bubble clouds? I was in Regina when those happened. They sorta looked like lightbulbs, if you recall.
Ethan Evans
That's just dumb enough to be true.
Benjamin Garcia
Agreed, that wind is nuts today isn't it?
Henry Nelson
From lumberjack to taking it from the back. What happened to Canada?
Ethan Ramirez
>tfw live in Shitario Dougie better fix this place.
I don't know. I'm not in Regina right now. The wind is usually quite wicked though, yeah.
Easton Howard
>mister ford announces socialist style changes to help the minimum wagies >liberals are still seething and hate it
some people are never happy
Charles Gomez
Hopefully she is wise enough to keep her game up for a long while. Her manipulation of men through sex works for her now, but she's got to eventually leverage that into something else.
and her little tantrum yesterday because her scheme to get a free dinner by going on a date backfired was pretty amusing.
Asher Cook
Rich powerful people sucking the country dry for decades, saddling it with debt. Need to undergo massive immigration to havee more people to tax and banks give more debt
Wyatt Martinez
Man I really hate Ontario. I feel like there's no hjope for me here.
Guelph, Kitchener cambridge waterloo got like a million people, still 80% white
Jackson Rivera
>Moving to Kelowna at the end of the year to go back to school.
Looking forward to actually getting out to biking and hiking. Maybe I'll find a QT to camp with as well.
I feel you man. I've moved around the country a bit growing up and unfortunately wound up in Ontario. In this bloody city, at least, there is fuck all to do but party or study if your in university.
It's fine mister. Just ride it out and live a comfortable life. We are like Kings, you know. Even the poorest can have great standards. And hopefully the commies or whatever are right about Global Warming and a massive flood wipes up this mess for us so the younger fellows can build something new and nice for a while.
Joshua Morales
whats her name, I think I know her and her bullshit.
Angel Rivera

>Kelowna
have fun finding a rental. Its brutal there right now
i want to move to Toronto. Ontario is fucking boring and I'll never have a decent job if I stay here
Brandon Jackson
and don't think you could rise up and change things either. No politician in most of our lifetimes has changed anything. Trudeau is a huge dope, sure, but look at all the power he wields and how little he accomplishes. Even a moron should be able to do something. And Harper before him also essentially changed nothing. They clearly don't intend to get that far and then just laze around. Our system inhibits change, which I am sure was intentional. So the miracle of getting to the highest office is the easy part, honestly.
Ryder Gutierrez
I want to move to fucking BC. So much more nature over there >To be honest, I want to move to vancouver so bad and live a cosmopolitan life. Come to Toronto if you want that life man. I hear Vancouver's a lot shittier than this place. Toronto's bigger too
I might have to move to Toronto soon. Never been in Canada before. What is there to do there?
Landon Powell
>What is there to do there? Getting blow jobs from your dog
Jordan Edwards
Yeah that's no problem even my town is really fugging white but we have super high unemployment and I'm not great at my career.
Juan Bennett
Not much since every activity is hours away from the closest city. Hiking, camping, walking, kayaking, skiing/snowboarding for the most part.
Jack Long
I'm just retarded and too depressed to think straight, sorry. I meant to say the current city I'm in
Alexander Carter
Winnipeg is just depressing, Toronto and BC are expensive as fuck. Maybe I go live in fuckin Halifax
Julian Bennett
There's always montreal famalam. All robots should come to montreal, this way I won't feel so alone.
Daniel Garcia
Any other Newfoundlander's in here?
Noah Mitchell
Toronto is mediocrity incarnated in a city. You'll find stuff to do, but it won't be as good as elsewhere. On the other hand it will never be as bad as elsewhere either.
Kayden Hernandez
i saw you and thought 'YEA!!' then i realised that this is a canada thread :(
Charles Wright
look guys I put my city there so people know where I am
I'm an environmental scientist. I just don't really like working where I am now.
Jack Brooks
i grew up living in toronto. living in any city is a mistake. country living is the true path to happiness
Sebastian Cox
Oh thats ok, its good to shake things up. working a job that is getting boring and lifeless is one of the worst things that can happen so the fact that you are thinking about this is great.
Agreed. It's boring and stressing me out at the same time with all the bullshit that's happening right now. I feel under-appreciated and feel like I'm not using my full potential. So fuck that I'm going to apply and see what happens.
Blake Gomez
I respect your opinion but disagree. It all depends on the person. Some will find happiness in the city and some in the country. and sometimes people need both, during different phases in their life.
where do you want to do that? i thought about moving to the yukon or NWT a while ago.
Thomas Evans
It's illegal to do that my famalam dude.
Anthony James
I mean cant you just buy some land up north and build a little home? Or even just buy one of those northern secluded homes? Probably still cheaper than living in the GTA
