To actually answer your question: 1. America doesn't have good places for people to congregate and socialize. So, its hard to meet people outside of work, and most labor is still sex-segregated. 2. Women tend to be better educated than men. People tend to date within their own educational class. So, there is a shortage of educated straight men and a surplus of educated straight women. In other words, they are not learned enough to get laid.

This is because of repeat offenders. The studies look at shit like "armed robbery" and get a 21 year old white dude and a 21 year old black dude. Prior offenses factor into to how long a sentence people get because if a dude has already committed 2 agravated assaults before this robbery, then he's probably a lost cause already. I guess, but you also need to recognize that the definition for what passes as "white" is much narrower than that which passes for black. Nearly all blacks are at least 20% white, but a person who is 80% white and 20% non-white would probably still be categorized by their non-white portion and identify as such. So as long as the definitions for white remain strict and black remain loose, it will be easier to "join"/be included in one than another and the numbers on that end will grow
