Shit resume? Applying for old job postings? No relevant experience?

lol, just get a job bro :)

bro stop being lazy and just get a job. it worked for me.

What age are you and do you have any qualifications?

Walk in there and give the manager a firm handshake.

>life is literally rigged against robots isnt it
No, you're just dumb.

I beat two grad school cucks for an accounting position when I had only a year of experience and a year of schooling.

How? With a big 4 or just a local place?

That will be my life when ill finish my stupid studies. I dont even have any of this meme social college life hehe party. Why am i still going through this shit?

Attached: 10d.jpg (960x925, 104K)

Have you called them back or gone to see them?

>>send over 200+ job applications this month

I find that really hard to believe.

Or if it's true, maybe you should stop spamming an identical CV+letter to different places.

Dumb for what? For going to university?

I have a non Accounting degree (Biomedical Science). Would I be able to get in to a low level accounting position with an accounting degree and just build my way up from working for a few years?

without an accounting degree*

I was once badly needing money so I literally walked from door to door down Edinburgh Princes street, and the Bridges and I got offered 3 temporary weekend jobs. I was even asking in the womens clothes shops and banks. It worked as well. I finally got a job which lasted 4 months, which was fine as by then I was in the clear again.

Trust me, you do not want to be an accountant

Don't they get paid fuck loads though?

That's actually a nice story. How are you doing now?

No, also it's one of the jobs that will be automated soon.

If 50-60k (in Los Angeles, not sure about the rest of the country) is a fuckload of money, then sure

t. book keeper

Thanks; that was ages ago, but the strategy mostly worked since then. More recently I got a temp job that became a full time job, and I've even been allowed to move from boring work to more interesting work using computers, so there's that.

My uncle is an accountant specialising in some tax shit or something in London and makes over 90,000 pounds a year.

t. going to be replaced by a computer program in 5 years.

Well I'm glad it worked out for you, for what it's worth coming from a random stranger.

You`re dumb for not being able to get a job. And depending on your career, you`re dumb for having gone to university.

You`d be able to get into a low level accounting position even without an accounting degree. Plenty of jobs exist where they`ll just teach you some basics so some workload/daily operations are alleviated (such as basic payables/invoice entries) and after years of coordinating with the other accounting folks over the years, you'll catch on quickly enough if you're willing to learn.

No, I'd definitely need credentials for the big 4. Our company has 2k employees and it nets around $50m a year, so I guess mid-sized.

you are pretty smug for someone working an entry level job you dont need a college degree for.

Why would grad students apply for entry level work?

Keep trying. No seriously, just keep applying. I got a job that way. Although, I went to 10 interviews, 9 got rejected because some roastie was interviewing me, and the last one was a man.

because everyone has a degree now.

Why does entry level work pay 70k a year?

So do you think I'd have a shot at getting an accounting job with a local company with just my biomedical science degree? Like for an interview what would I be expected to know? should I buy accounting books and study them?

Depending on location yes. But you don't actually make that.

Probably all three kek, OP sounds like a fag

Attached: 1503917185219 (2).gif (474x340, 368K)

No way you make that with just 1 year experience

Buy a (1) financial accounting book (2) fundamental accounting book.

Literally all you need for a minimum wage job is to know the accounting cycle and common sense.

I don't know why you'd want to pursue it though. But you can definitely work your way up from there.

>Depending on location yes
Entry level accounting for 70k? Where is that paid?

>But you don't actually make that.
>No way you make that with just 1 year experience
Tsk tsk tsk. You guys have no ambition.

>200+ in one month
Well there's your problem. File an application you've spent some time in, and see if quality trumps quantity in this scenario.

What is the point of that image?

It's easy for me to garner 10s of thousands of dollars as an accountant. I don't understand the posters saying there's no way I can make 70k in a year.

If I did that with one year of schooling and one year of experience, these guys can find a half-decent job too.

>he thinks they can't tell you're a robot from your resume

That screenshot proves dick

Excuse me for entering a thread not knowing I'd have to prove beyond a doubt that I earn very well and using what I have to prove great cash flow.

i think you're mistaking me for a different poster because that doesn't make sense

Attached: 1498854404383.png (473x675, 361K)

>shit resume
>no relevant experience

>apply to job
>get turned down because no experience lmao

it's all a vicious cycle, a catch 22 designed by the jews and the normies to keep us down and I'M FUCKING SERIOUS ABOUT THIS, you literally can't prove otherwise

>TFW I work as a merchandiser
>Just got a call for an account manager position I applied for in regards to an interview.

Granted I'm just one of several people being interviewed, so not really out of the woods yet. If I did get the position though it'd be a BIG step up for me. Way more money and a higher position as well. Way too early to be excited though. I'm more nervous if anything.

Why not just do what the chads and normies do and lie? My resume is 90% bullshit but I feed the hiring manager that bullshit and usually do pretty well

Same. The only lucky thing is that surprisingly i got mail today that next week i have a job interview for an IT job.

>24
>qualifications:
i graduated from a shit degree, am curren tly studying a second one that has little "commercial" value (english lit), I know three languages, and have only worked for my family's own business since I was 18. No one has ever hired me despite having landed interviews and done well in them, because I "have no experience".

Two shit degrees? I'm glad you're unemployed.

>graduate with one shit degree
>well better go back and get another one
Holy fuck

>I know three languages,
Which ones? Have you considered being a language teacher?

It's not like that, I'm about to finish the second one and I only started it because I thoroughly enjoy it, not because it would land me a high paying job. The first one, I started because back then I was in some deep shit accademically and financially and couldn't pick anything else, but it's got more opportunites, if you will (tv, media, all that shit).

english, spanish and german. I should look into it, but I need some money to get an official certification and get a decent job.

>I only started it because I thoroughly enjoy it
You prioritized enjoyment while having no career prospects. The time and effort should've been spent on something with commercial value. You deserve to be unemployed.

Is that what life is supposed to be? Denying yourself from pleasure and enjoyment in favour of a better salary? That's a pretty fucking miserable existence, then. No wonder NEETs are happier people overall

I started a job like three weeks out of the military, try something different.

You paid for shit you could've learned for free. You think John Locke wildly indebted himself at the expense of his craft and spent 10 hours a day getting arbitrary direction for it?

Pay for something from which you will derive surplus value, ease your lifestyle's burdens and be free to enjoy your passions without being crippling poor. I'm and I could leave work for a month, enjoy whatever I actually like and still make 1/4 of my real job's income by trading stocks for 30 minutes a day.

I'm advocating the expansion of options so people can work smarter, not harder. Fuck having to work hard.

Not guy your replying to. But how would you recommend someone get started in trading stocks?

>need experience in order to get a job
>need a job in order to have experience

Something is wrong here.

How do I get a job that pays more than $10/hr when I have no degree? Do those jobs exist. I'm currently working full time for that much and it sucks, I want to be able to save money.

Attached: 1509915988856.png (646x595, 280K)

The Jews would want you to work, you dont make any money for them otherwise

i wash dishes for 11.50 an hour, work hard no matter how menial your job is and you'll move up eventually.

Are you a Mexican by any chance?

no, but they have the right idea. but seriously, if you work hard you get good references for better jobs.

If you life in california go to a place with 26+ workers and the minimum wage is 12 dollars an hour
At hotels i think its 14.99

yeah but the rent is fucked. im paying 750 here i imagine its at least double that in cali

>become a wageslave for the jew

This is why life sucks. I want to be able to enjoy life. Not have work suck all the potential fun out of it.

>WAHH IT'S NOT MY FAULT IT'S THE JEWS AND THE NORMIES' FAULT
kys

good luck kid. you'll be a wageslave no matter where you go without a useful degree.

Many positions are filled as soon as they are advertised. They just have to post them by law.
As for entry-level stuff, if you see them put "experience" requirements on there then it's 100% a waste of time because they're trying to scare people away from applying and they already have someone in mind.

there was a thread about a year ago where an user learned that his boss had completely faked his degree and experience to get hired. the company never followed up on the resume so some random guy ended up as a manager and nobody figured it out for years.
the strange part is how it's not that uncommon because many jobs really only require common sense skills

Attached: raccoonBusiness.jpg (425x703, 86K)

>They just have to post them by law
How does the average person stand a chance when literally any meaningful job is filled out by nepotism and corruption? Nowadays you need a miracle to land a decent job.

Yes. You can have a lovely resume on paper and you will always lose to a subpar resume from someone who knows someone who knows the hiring manager. You have to network and pretend to be a normal, AND STILL get lucky by knowing the right people for a decent job (not paid by the hour, or doing manual labor).

The average person socializes so eventually their connections get them a job.

Resumes done electronically are filtered for keywords.
Try instead of listing job responsibilities, listing accomplishments at jobs. If no job history use volunteer work. If none of that, go out and do some.
If given a questionnaire with varying degrees of answers like "somewhat agree or strongly agree" never answer in the middle. No matter what bullshit they say about "filtering dishonesty" and say what you think hiring managers want to hear.
Never include why you left a job unless asked and if asked never bad mouth former employers. Use some tact and say things like you were seeking a career change or something like that.
I used to manage retail so I can help you in the future with tips and such if you want. My discord os fatman#0024

>you'll be a wageslave even with a useful degree.

This is what you actually meant to say.

>Resumes done electronically are filtered for keywords.
Are you saying that when you upload a resume to an application the company/program/whatever searches for applicants based off certain keywords?

This is true for HR.

actually you're right, I meant to say "with or without" lol

>send over 10 million job applications this hour

Wtf am i doing wrong?

>have no degree
>make 70k a year playing FFXIV on my laptop at work all day comfortably

Cellphones are something else

>Have never not been offered a job I applied to in my life.
OP, how even does this happen to you? Do you have a criminal record or shitty employment history you're not telling us about?

pls tell me originally how you pulled this off if you arent larping

School shootings are fucking hilarious. Everyone who does them is a Jesus. Any time I am feeling down about my shit life where people routinely shit on my face I think of the fucking loser families of school shooting victims or dead cops and feel euphoric. These people spend their entire life supporting murderers who kill people for oil, but when they die its supposedly "monsterous". Nah. You are all scum. 9/11 was also very cool because a bunch of elite New York faggots and meathead government loving firemen died. I love how these people who would never make one adjusment so we could have some fucking scraps and live a decent life we're burning alive and had to jump from the twin towers. That was the best masturbation material ever. If the Jews secretly worship Satan and are planning to destroy the abrahamic douche power structure then maybe I will stop laughing at all those anorexic cancerous Steve Jobs cosplayers in the Holocaust. Now let us pray that James Holmes turns into the hulk and murders all the CIA faggots pumping him up with psych meds because he found out something about the brain before them. All crime is summoned by the people who then defeat the crime, and they use that ritual to manufacture consent from retards. The only thing giving power to this system is consent. Obama raped me 100000 times. Hilary Clinton , human abedin, and Anthony Weiner rape children. We need to give all our Mana to trump so he can become Superman and kill the United States government so the fourth Reich can take over and we can all become satanic gods again.
