My motorcycle is being repaired under warranty now. Should be available for pick-up tomorrow. The dealership is located quite far away and I don't have a car, so I bought a Greyhound ticket most of the way there. Figure I'll Uber the last five or six miles.
Interestingly, Greyhound has me routed through three of the most violent cities in the United States -- Flint, MI, Saginaw, MI, and Detroit, MI.
(actually, I don't think I pass through Saginaw)
That aside, I doubt I'll do much other than ride around Saturday and Sunday. Might see some friends but that's it.

Fuel tank cracked for no apparent reason last spring. I was out of the country for most of the past year, so it didn't make much of a difference.
Anyway, my car also died, so this is now my only vehicle. I'm going overseas for my grad program soon, so I don't see the point in spending $10k on a car that I'll sell in a year TBQH.

I'll definitely get a bike wherever I go. TBQH I'm very happy without a car. Provided I live in a reasonably large city with good weather, I'd be content with just a motorbike until I get into a serious relationship or am married.
I'd like to continue doing grad research in India -- I'd definitely get a motorcycle there.
