I had my hair really long, down to my ass, for several years. I only attracted a certain type of women. Now that I have the meme undercut look I attract pretty much any type of women.

Yes. I had long hair up until September 2016 and then I shaved it all off. I really regret that. I've been growing it out since then and can put my hair in a ponytail now. Although it's kinda small.
Not growing it out for roastie cunts like though. I just like having long hair.

am a decent looking guy who had the metalhead style for pretty much my entire life until recently, had hair down to my bellybutton
most girls are indifferent, some hate it, some REALLY like it, but it's really not worth it for the small percentage of girls who love it

i switched to a basic ass crew cut, it's so much more practical, masculine, and i still get just as many mires from girls

tl;dr it doesn't matter, face and frame are above everything else, not having to buy shitloads of hair products to look nice and not having hair in your face/eyes is also great too

I would literally kill for straight hair. My hair is undecided between curly and straight which makes it fucking retarded and go in all directions. It made me so pissed of I shaved my head two years ago. But I'm growing it out again because I like the feeling of moving my fingers through my hair. I'm a neet now so I don't care how shitty it looks.

straight hair is boring, slight waves/curls look the best by far
just put it in a ponytail or up in a pineapple (bend over, tie a topknot, and then turn it into a bun so it stays up over your head and out of your face)
