This could/would have been me. I had a crazy as cunt of an ex (first gf) with bpd and she would break up with me constantly and put me through hell. Then one day I just said fuck it and broke up with her after an episode. She went berserk and came to my house out of nowhere one day and demanded that I marry her. We would have turned out exactly like this panel. God damn am I thankful I finally used my head and told her to fuck off. I'm single now but it's worth it.

Growing up hearing your parents screaming at each other, taking out the stress of their own failed marriage on you, not understanding why there was so much hatred and thinking the whole world was like that, was no real life
