Got rejected from an entry level job

Unlike you perma-hikkis I've been trying to succeed in life.

>graduated high school with high marks in every subject
>straight into university after summer
>live in poverty because part-time jobs are extremely competitive
>graduate after 3.5 years with bachelor's in IT and MIS
>apply everywhere
>can barely get an interview
>interviews go well
>still don't get the job

Just got a phone call to tell me I interviewed perfectly and got perfect results on their online testing system but since there were people with more experience than me, they got the job instead. It was entry level and there were 4 positions available.

There is no hope for losers living in the poverty cycle. Society will blame me for being unemployed but I can't help it if I break my back trying to get a single opportunity and still get nothing. Fuck people, fuck the world, it's dead to me.

It should be illegal for anyone with more than 3 years of experience at an entry level job to be hired over some one else with no experience who is trying to get experience in the first place. It's absolutely unfair.

if you want a some money apply for a call centre, lots of them do paid training and will take literally anyone, once training ends just quit because actually working in a call centre is worse than being a neet

i knew people that just would hop between every companies traning programs and get paid without working

>get meme degree in non-field
>wonder why he can't get a job
lmao, women's degree-equivalents BTFO

>going to memeschool when you can just be neet and sell drugs on the side to dumb normos

Keep trying mate. I thought all hope was lost for me too but I got a job and am now a full time software engineer. I would only start worrying if 6 months pass after you graduate and you still have nothing.

I feel for you user, i've had almost 20 years experience in the work force but I can't find anything either.

It's been 10 months user

It never gets better does it

>got rejected from every internship i applied to
may as well neck myself now

The people down my local KFC have degrees in law and accounting.

>It never gets better does it
Not in my experience user. I'm depressed and autistic which doesn't help.

has anyone ever worked at a red rooster?

it's been 3 years, i gave up a long time ago

Not really to be honest. Sorry you can't get a job

My professor said success is bred from failure. You can have 99 failures, but all you need is that 1 yes to be a successful person, nobody cares about the failures, only the success. Keep going user, apply for hundreds of jobs, that's how life works. You only need 1 place to hire you

>27
>live with parents
>forced to work through nepotism

checkmate

I have about 10 years experience in retail or customer service, and two meme degrees. I have two gaps in my resume, one for a year and another for a month. I'm still able to get a job relatively easy.

Guess what homo you have to know someone, hope you've been lifting and reading the Classics because you need to be Chad to succeed, otherwise you're just praying you get lucky.

This is the price we pay for free market capitalism.

>but all you need is that 1 yes to be a successful person
>nobody cares about the failures
>My professor said
And yet you need to keep your grades up and not fail any classes to keep your average high to be accepted into university.
And you need to not fail courses to keep your gpa high to be able to continue your education to have a chance to get a more specialized job.

Your professor is bullshitting.

>lifting and reading the Classics
fuck off normalfag, you're just here to shit on robots. fuck yourself.

I had a friend who worked there in high school.
It was pretty shit apparently, just like any other sub-par fast food chain, but they're pretty lax with their hiring policies so if you're not completely retarded it's not difficult to do well there.

>implying I myself do either of those things
I got lucky and stumbled into a job through a connection, I was prepared to be totally fucked though

i'm fairly autistic but i do live alone and cook for myself. i'm going to look in to it, i don't know how they feel about older guys though.

Your average 90's born queer doesn't know shit about anything before 2007 except pokemon and lifting is a fucking meme.Neither of those things have anything to do with getting 99.9% of jobs.

That could be a problem, because of our minimum wage laws and all, you're substantially more expensive to hire than a 15-year old.

that'll teach me to work in warehousing for 15 years, i don't want to do that any more because my body is gets very sore and retail/fast food doesn't want me because i'm too old, life isn't fair anons

>6 months pass

Lol its been like 8 now though technically I graduated in December. Still very little interest in me while my dumb ass friend lucked out and got some entry level job. Still mad at that.

He was talking about getting jobs, school is the easy part. The only way you fail school is if you don't try.

>And yet you need to keep your grades up and not fail any classes to keep your average high to be accepted into university.
which is easy as fuck, if you can't even do that then yeah you're not cut out for most of life

>And you need to not fail courses to keep your gpa high to be able to continue your education to have a chance to get a more specialized job.
you don't need to be the best in your field to get a job retard, there's also such a thing as being over qualified. I mean in terms of tech going past a bachelors doesn't have much benefits unless you want to go into academia. If you really want a specialized job you'll have the determination to obtain it, otherwise most of us are okay with taking a 'lower level' job, which still leaves you lots of room to hone your skills and work your way up

got to a disability agency, guarenteed jobs

if you are on here you are clearly mentally disabled in some way, they will help you get work and fit in with the normies

>which is easy as fuck, if you can't even do that then yeah you're not cut out for most of life
>t. has never tried to get into science-related degrees for university and juggle all the science courses at once while keeping a good grade in all of them
>you don't need to be the best in your field to get a job retard, there's also such a thing as being over qualified. I mean in terms of tech going past a bachelors doesn't have much benefits unless you want to go into academia. If you really want a specialized job you'll have the determination to obtain it
>t. has never heard of masters degrees

I ended up joining the military then joining a trade union, plumbing and pipe fitting specifically. it's not glamours work but it's work.

>hone your skills and work your way up
Isn't that something they did in the 1950's but now it's impossible to get a promotion?

Do you need to prove that you're disabled in some way?

they accept anxiety as a disability. you don't have to be a cripple or a retard to have their support

>they accept anxiety as a disability.
which country are you in?

Straylia

I've seen retards like OP cry and bitch about their problems and then become the normies who they always were. They claim to be depressed and that their pains are greater and more stronger than others because things aren't going their way for the past 5-12 months

Try a life time of failure you fucking snowflake

Attached: 1424898723310 (1).png (1920x1080, 1.67M)

lie in your resume, talk about some competitive shit you did in your youth(sports), add some bullshit free lance crap or interships, recruters don't give a fuck about your degree or scores AS much as you think because everyone has the same shit

Where do you live? I know it's bad but this seems impossible to me.

me too but doctors don't seem to even take my aspergers seriously, even when I go in their shaking from anxiety. I had a job for years but I seem to be getting worse as I get older.

you're also probably ugly as fuck or deeply autistic if you can't get an entry level job

Would you guys work for 13 an hour plus tips? Doesn't seem too bad for someone without higher education but it's most likely a dead end.

80k is bare-minimum for a somewhat joyfull life

You should know nepotism runs everything. There's never any reason to hire someone as an entry level since there's at least 20 other guys with experience despite being entry level. Everyone successful gets their first job through connections. I was on the job search for 10 months after getting a CS degree in a place with tons of career opportunities and I never once got any callback to the hundreds of positions I applied to. Education and the like just doesn't matter but being a co-worker's nephew will land you everything.

Most companies promote from within but good luck since the other guy happily works 60 hour weeks with no overtime and gets the boss his coffee every morning.

>80k is bare-minimum for a somewhat joyfull life
oh fuck off user, 35-40k is more than enough for some robot.

>have the hard skills
>have no soft skills, no people skills and no previous work experience

When will shut ins learn that just knowing the knowledge to adequately do the job isn't enough for an office environment? There's 10 other qualified applicants for every entry level job, they're not going to choose the anti-social weirdo with no proven professional experience.

seriously consider the disabilities agencies man, good to have a helping hand rather than rely on getting lucky in finding work

Wait. What? You're complaining about one failed job application?

I must have applied to over 1000 entry level jobs and still haven't found work yet.

I'm going to look in to it user, thanks. i'm just weary of agencies because i've had bad experiences in the past. have you delt with them yourself? do you know if i'd have to expect a lower pay because i'd be considered disabled?

i only have a high school diploma and i have a job at best buy, i make $1,500 a month and it feels good

>gf won't let me live with her if I can't get a job
>she works hard, but she has never had to look for a job in her entire life

Hey man, I got rejected from a job at gas station because I'm 24 with literally no job experience.

I'm only posting this one reply but anyways
>EE major, 2.71 gpa get bachelors
>Only have one internship that was mostly project management
>End up working at wagie amazon job for 4 months, living constantly on border of homelessness
>Spam applications like a thot spams her number
>Finally almost exact 1 year after graduating get a decent job doing quality control for 58k

Yea, shit's low paying but it'll pay my bills leave me with some play money and get me valuable experience since i'm doing circuit analysis all day. I'm also an official engineer so I'm proud with that.

It takes some time and perseverance OP. One thing you can do in the mean time is at least attempt to improve your skill set. It helps gather you some experience and can improve your interviews further.

Sometimes you just gotta know people. I started off applying everywhere withing 10 miles of my house, couldn't even get an interview. I had to get a buddy of mine who worked at walmart to recommend me over there to get my first job, now, a year and a half later, im working night shifts on an ambulance. Its rough out there buddy, but as long as you've got a good attitude and keep trying your best, you'll find out more things work in your favor than you realize. Keep your chin up, friend

>HP looking for interns from my school
>I get rejected, along with literally everyone else

I haven't done it myself but i've heard good things from people who have been through them, depends which one you look at though, some are far better than others (i hear good things about Nova employment)

i doubt they would stick you on lower pay just cause you have claimed to have a disability, don't think they are allowed to and even if they were it's be more than a little fucking unethical

HP is a pretty trash company, you're better off for not working for them. They're always one step away from a crash an burn bankruptcy.

My source: a friend who works their budgeting

It's better than nothing at all, and at least they were decent enough to actually send a rejection email

lol what?
You're fucking retarded. Everyone point and laugh at the retard.

there you go user, the promise to get you a job that pays a normal wage

How much will you get paid?
NOVA staff will look for a quality employment outcome that pays award wages and gives you a valued role within your work place.

That means your job will:
Pay you the same money as everyone else who does the same job
Have the same conditions as every other worker
Meet health and safety standards
Help you feel part of the team

>get paid internship
>"we normally bring our interns on full time"
>do everything right, come in extra hours on Sarurdays to make sure all my work is done extra early, want to show ambition, work ethic to higher ups
>6 months later, internship over
>"yeah, we decided not to keep you. good luck out there though"
>repeat this scenario 2 more fucking times and still can't get brought on full time anywhere
have bachelors in both Accounting & Business Administration btw

I swear these fucking corporations just don't want to pay benefits. They know they can get an endless supply of college kids with the promise of "work experience"

It looks like they only operate in queensland user but thank you again, you've given me another avenue to explore.

I was just on their site too user, except i'm in victoria.

>retail and customer service

Cucktier jobs

Maybe you didn't shake hands hard enough or went above and beyond (for someone else).

The way the system works, you have to look employable. Some guy with a few shit eating jobs and a degree is going to look a lot better than some guy fresh out of school without any experience.
Life sucks ass; work at a McDonalds and apply for better.

>i knew people that just would hop between every companies traning programs and get paid without working
Is there a word for this? Curious as I worked at a call center for three years and never occured to me to try this. Maybe I'm just a brainlet

>Maybe I'm just a brainlet
you're a newfag that's for sure you fucking reddit cock stain.

You need to volunteer at work places. Basically work under them for free in order to garner some references. If you're lucky, they might even offer you a position for your hard work.

I'm in a very similar situation as you OP.
I graduated trade school.
I never failed a class and it was near a valedictorian. Every place I apply tells me 2 years experience. School, grades, and presentation really mean nothing to the vast majority of companies.
I feel so fucking stupid.

I tried that once and it was the most cuck I have ever been.
That is terrible advice.
It's not what you know. It's who you know or blow.
Gotta have family connections.

This is because we are not failed normalfags like you

The only retard here is you.

Like the other guy said, having ten years experience after graduating university looks better than being a neet since graduating.

Also I hope you're not op. If so, it'll be sad for an unemployed person to wail on an employed person

Why not start your own business?

Shit sucks OP. Its getting harder and harder to get a entry level job because of automation projects. I started my "career" 5 years ago. The stuff I was doing then is almost completely automated, scripted now. Few bugs to iron and no human would be needed to do it at all. Shit, I'm writing automation scripts myself now.

The companies needs now guys with troubleshooting skills, installation skills, configuration skills, and you can't get those without experience.

If things will continue to go in this direction, we are all fucked.

If the things humans want can't be produced cheaply and automatically wouldn't they become very cheap? Slap a only replacement law on reproduction aka 1-3 kids and we're golden right? More than enough people will be happy with not reproducing if we have to lower global population. Are you saying I should get into masonry or something?

can be produced cheaply*

I've found in my job line interviews are less about applying for the job and more about being told what I'll be doing. I've been at my current one for two years and was pretty much hired on the spot. (it pays well for what it is and I enjoy it)
Just stop being so entitled and get any job you can, even if it means it's a lower paying job. It's better than nothing and it's not like you can't keep looking for work while doing that job. Might even look better to have some real world working experience.

>get rejection email
>smile since you actually got a response validating that you even made an attempt
Once I got a physical letter of rejection which was nice.

Its beeb three years since i graduated with engineering degree, still no job. Some inteeviewers look at you dumbfounded like how could someone possibly not get into a graduate programme after uni, yet they never hire me. Thats how.

I just wat an entry role in my field so i can worl my ass off and get experience and progress but no one is giving me a chance. My options seem to be get a masters or just give up on being an engineer.

Yeah dude it fucking sucks. Im nearly 23 now and stuck on neetbux because of this shit

>i only got a job because i had a connection
>just keep trying your best

Cmon dude you just showed how someone is fucked without social connections.
