There are tons of women out there who barely ever or don't wear makeup. In my experience they're actually just better people in general, I've had many nice interactions with said women.

Because men are more realistic than women and reality is much uglier than fantasy.

Mentally its because men evolved to fucking fight predators and enemies. You need a certain amount of anger and crazy to run a guy through with a spear. Women on the other hand primarily role was to gather and raise children. They did not have to fight so having large amounts of testosterone (yes it makes you ugly)was not needed to get by. Another thing is men need something worth fighting for so women looking appealing helps that.

My only problem with that is that if women were meant to raise children, why are they so shit at it? My proposal is that women were not the ones to raise the children, or at least not the boys. They would obviously raise them as up to being toddlers, but then I think that the men would raise them. That would explain why kids without fathers are so so so much worse off than kids without mothers. I think women did not evolve to raise kids at all, but in fact that men are much better suited for this job.
