Are boys with AVPD cute? d-do they make good bfs?
maybe if you're a prisongay NEET faggot looking for a discord relationship that won't last more than a couple months.
If they have friends IRL and are somewhat interesting, then an actual yandere-esque or stalker/curious girl would love him, otherwise, no chance a girl would go after him.
I seen this thread this January fuck off to Soc with your unoriginal thread desu
said by a normie posting a picture from facebook
>d-do they make good bfs
no one knows because they never make themselves bfs
They are the opposite of what constitutes a good boyfriend
I have been defeated and outed as a normie for using the worlds most popular social media network. I must now go ree in soc with other fags and normies for validation because I am a shy boy with AVPD sowey to disturb you user
As a boy with AVPD, no. No we don't.
Affection and intimacy pisses me off. Being asked to voice chat or participate in social interaction pisses me off and annoys me beyond belief.
I have no friends online or offline. I don't talk to anyone. The only thing remotely social I do is go into discords for my WoW guild raids. But I may as well be an NPC to those people because I don't talk in voice and I just leave when the raid is over and everyone starts shooting the shit.
I had an internet GF a long time ago because I felt lonely but it just made me realize I'm better off alone because feeling stuck in social situations cause me too much stress.
I've been told I'm not bad looking but I wouldn't call myself cute. I've also been told I'd make for a great bf, but don't really believe so. I'd by loyal sure, but I think most women would find me too cold and distant.
>curious girl would love him
I've had many take interest in me since I stand out from other men in ways that appeal to women (like not being a sex obsessed creep, listing to them and their problems, liking girly things, ect), but they ultimately get bored of me sooner or latter.
This is my throw away if you wanna chat OP.
The answer is some and possibly.
AVPD doesn't define an entire personality, and AVPD people may be more or less smart, more or less funny, and more or less likeable. With any AVPD person you'll have to work hard to get them to open up to you and trust you.
No. They are the absolute worst. I fell in love with two guys with AVPD and it was the worst experiences in my life. It didn't matter what I did they would always get scared and run off. They would say they are attached to me and they love me and think I'm perfect, then the next day tell me it's too much and leave for a month or more. It's borderline emotional abuse.
Damn that's exactly how I'm worried I'd make a girl feel if by some freak accident I actually would up dating one. Well no worries since it'll never actually happen.
Sure, as long as they're given enough space. Wanting to talk with them constantly every day is a bit like wanting to take your arachnophobe bf to a spider exhibit every day, though.
You propably don't have avpd then.
>Those affected display a pattern of severe social anxiety, social inhibition, feelings of inadequacy and inferiority, extreme sensitivity to negative evaluation, and avoidance of social interaction despite a strong desire for intimacy.
Sorry to hear that but they atleast propably actually meant it.
Sometimes I think a girl that was kinda clingy would be good for me because personally I really only start avoiding another after I'm alone again.
Based on my vast experience reading wikipedia articles, that sounds more like schizoid personality disorder.
Judging by how annoyed he gets, it sounds more like autism spectrum disorder
t. diagnosed with AvPD
So I should be qualified to throw my 5 cents.
You don't have it. That's just autism. In fact it sounds really far off from how avpd people feel. You're probably too self centered, or you have trust issues, a reason you're not talking to anyone as a coping mechanism.
Not really. Not having any experience, but not wanting to fuck up anything either will go bad in a relationship.
Could be, my guess is these things rarely fall into a clearly defined category. Everything is a spectrum.
What's the difference between AvPD and social anxiety disorder? Or AvPD is just fancier way of saying same thing?
I don't know. I've never had a girlfriend.
That to me just sounds like autism.
There's a bit of disagreement about that, but AvPD is listed in the DSM and ICD-10, at least. Here's the signs DSM uses: theravive.com
Not sure if I have AVPD but I definitely prefer to be alone.
If I could find a nice quiet girlfriend who likes reading and going for walks I think it'd be nice to share my life with someone like that. Unfortunately for us hermits it's difficult to find each other.
The few times I have dated people I found them too intense/unable to relax and enjoy a bit of quiet.
So for normies? Nah I'd be a terrible date/bf.
But for someone else a bit like me? I'm sure I'd be alright.
Who made this?! That album destroys me
>are boys with AVPD cute?
AvPD one of the cuter disorders
>do they make good bfs?
please
you probably have to be a very special girl to make him like you and trust you.
