Islamic terrorism didn't appear out of nowhere. The ideology behind them was created through end of cold war and failure of western liberalism to take hold in those cultures. Its basically a conflict between political islam and western liberalism. In middle east it amounts to full blown civil war, while attacks in the west consequence of migrations, where we imported their domestic ideological conflicts.
