Bullies tend to be popular and have lots of friends. If you don't have friends or have friends that are weak losers who wouldn't fight for you, then fighting back is a horrible idea.

Holy shit, that was almost my exact same experience. My mom sent me to a boys' boarding school as a punishment for getting in so much trouble my first year of school. Everyone was so nice to me it almost freaked me out. At first I actually thought they were pretending to like me just to build up to some "prank" later on. I'm nostalgic as fuck about those days because it was the last time in my life I had close friends. The only thing I don't miss about those days was the lack of internet access.

Well desu in the schools I went to we bullied and pulled pranks on weaker dudes even when we were so young we thought girls were gross, it was fun and almost everyone had a good time
In high school I kept doing it for fun but what surprised me was the added element of girls who thought the dudes who were the butt of the joke deserved it because "they're weird and gross ugh", that was really cruel and sort of terrified me hearing those words out of the mouth of a girl who was so kind and angelic otherwise

Not him but my bully would strangle me whenever he saw me until near pass-out. One day I had enough and hit him in the neck with a dull pencil. Made him cry. I had seen the dean several times about the guy strangling me and he never did anything about it. After this event, I was expelled and sued. As part of the settlement, I had to go see a psych who found of course that there was nothing wrong with me. The other guy got nothing at all because, and I quote, "when he was told he was going to be expelled for 3 days, he cried". As for myself, I was never confronted by anyone, I was just unceremoniously sent home and my parents were told over the phone I was expelled permanently.

Nope, nothing. I got to be homeschooled by absolutely awful teachers for a year before moving on. One of them even left halfway through a lesson never to come back, not even getting her payment for the lesson, because she was angry that I wasn't effectively sucking her cock. At least the bullies the year after bullied me because I was being a faggot, not for their own pleasure. And they never got really physical with me. So things were looking up.

Most bullies don't just use their physical strength against you, but also their social status. You might be stronger than them and able to beat them in a fight, but if you fight back they can turn everyone against you and make everyone believe they are the victim and YOU are the bully.

I was bullied all my life and it didn't really affect me except for never really trusting guys. I had that shit age 4-10 where no one would believe the bullies were bullies because they behaved well in front of teachers. Then 11-16 I was bullied for everything. 11-13 or so it was some half bigger and his older brother who just didn't like me for some reason, but thankfully they were both known to be bad pupils (niggers bad in school, no shit). A teacher once saw the older brother hit me (admittedly pretty lightly) in the back of the head and the kid got in so much shit for that. Bullying at my school was kind of weird. It was a very small private school so everyone knew everyone and under the right circumstances anyone could act like friends, but also anyone could act like a bully. Usually when for lack of a better term ''a chad' was alone he'd be friendly and normal, but if two or more of them got together they'd bully. Sometimes nerds would sell out other nerds in hopes of impressing the bullies. Sometimes nerds would just bully each other. It was almost all verbal. Though some stealing occurred too.

I still have no idea who he was fighting but people still think it was me, shit was like 6 years ago and no one believes me.
