Some positions aren't really possible, at least without pain and discomfort, she was always disappointed she couldn't really properly ride me.
Phimosis really put me off sex for a long time, and the first attempt at sex was abortive, as I simply couldn't get in until we tried coconut oil. Luckily I was in a relationship with the girl and she was pretty patient.

Apparently you need to make sure you are stretching the phimotic ring, if you're not doing that there will be no success with stretching.
I am skeptical about this method myself, and have had circumcision recommended to me by doctors a couple of times (not American).

Some people have an issue with the frenulum. Stretching doesn't fix that. You can also get a partial circumcision (a dorsal something or other). That's what I plan to get.

I'm 32 and have phimosis. A couple years ago I wasn't able to retract at all. Around a year or so ago I started seriously stretching by sticking my pointer fingers in as deep as I could and then pulling outward and holding; typically I stretch and hold for 10 minutes. Afterwards I rub some coconut oil on my foreskin to prevent it from getting irritated. For roughly half an hour after my stretching session, I got to the point where I can easily retract and it goes back and forth on it's own. No, quite the opposite actually. Heavy build up of smegma under my foreskin caused it to burst through and prematurely seperated my foreskin from the head. My foreskin is now permanently retracted and there's no way to pull it forward, even when I'm soft.
You don't need to stretch. As mentioned here , the buildup and burst of smegma left a hole in my foreskin. My homemade fleshlight technique finished the job off by eroding the skin still attached to the head.
