I guess this is a Jow Forums dating thread. I generally like three types of grills. Athletic, Artsy and now, Servicemembers.
Everyone always says stay away from female soldiers, marines, etc. They're nothing but crazy, whores, they'll ruin your career, etc. But I'm really starting to like them. At least the ones I work with.
When I was in school, most girls I interacted with has no personality and no interests. Just completely uninteresting. Athletic girls at least have some kind of drive and aren't lazy fucks. Artsy girls I find interesting, but they come in all types of crazy, so that's hit or miss. And the girls I work with seem to have a sense of humor and can hang with the boys. They're also not those prissy/annoying bougie types. They just seem to be all around cool people. What gives Jow Forums? Why did you lie to me? Or am I just surrounded by the cream of the crop?

Hmm. I've had thoughts floating around in my head of going to OCS after getting my degree and trying to become a pilot. Were they just winding down and didn't need as many pilots as they had?
She is not a political animal by nature, and had a couple of super shitty comanders, so she got passed over for cpt. Her attitude at the time didn't help, so she kept getting passed over while her flight hours dwindled. Throw in an injury requiring surgery and long term convalescence, and her career was doomed.
Great gal, heck of a pilot, but a terrible officer. Should've gone warrant.

I contemplated signing a contract to work as a doc for .mil because they pay for med school and give a stipend (you make way more after residency as a civilian though) but decided not to because of repeated stories of having militant nurses that have been in the military forever outranking you due purely to being there so long and therefore being able to tell you what to do
