I'm a big guy, but I'm scared of needles. I'm afraid that they will be extremely painful.
Can anyone help me overcome my fears? How do I do it?

Ask the needle-bearer to talk about something to distract you and don't look while they stick it in. Works for me, and looking at needles makes my throat clench a bit.
Obviously stick needles into yourself
i wonder if heroin would help cure my fear of needles
y-you really think this would work? what should i talk about? i have an autistic obsession with planes atm. i guess that would work
>stick it in
lewd
What planes do you like
Twin props mostly, the EMB-110 is my favorite
You can't overcome your fears user. Especially when you're underaged.
I used to be scared of needles but then I developed a heroin addiction.
.
Just remember that pain is only a feeling. It is temporary and will pass in less than a second. You have gone thru worse before and will likely go thru worse in the future. In time the fear will go away mostly. I have an aversion to needles too and this is what runs thru my head every time I have to get stuck.
Progressively start stabbing yourself with bigger and bigger needles until you're impervious to pain.
Start shooting heroin, you will start salivating at the thought of getting an injection. worked for me!
>I'm a big guy
if i poke you with a needle will you die?
pick any spot on your arm that isnt anywhere near your elbow and pinch really hard for 5 seconds
you have felt more pain than a needle
Start shooting up drugs or eat until you get type 2 diabetes. I have type 1 diabetes. I used to be scared of needles, but when you have to stab yourself with a needle multiple times a day to survive you quickly lose that fear. Also probably why didn't even have any fears when I shot up some oxy for the first time
Get as many as you can. Seasonal flu shots, disease inoculations, blood tests
refer to >I'm afraid that they will be extremely painful.
Looking away helps. It doesn't hurt unless they have Parkinson's or something. You'll feel the needle inside you, but it shouldn't hurt. It's an odd feeling.
It won't be extremely painful, it's just a pinch.
Just don't look while they do it and pretend they're only pinching you. It shouldn't be very hard, for you.
i too am a relatively big guy and afraid of needles, but my fear is based on needles piercing through my veins and drawing up blood, two things i'm really squeamish about. needles
i tried looking away like said. it didn't hurt much, just a slight sting, but i kept thinking about my veins and blood and i passed out and had headache for the rest of the day, how embarassing
when i had to get stabbed for IV, the nurse couldn't find the veins in the back of both my hands. they said i was too nervous, so they stabbed it in my inner wrist for 10 whole days. when i told another nurse i got stabbed in the inner wrist she just squirmed and i knew i done fucked up
if I stick this needle in you would you die?
you're a big guy user
oreganoilie
i have a similar fear. I'm not afraid of the pain of the needle, but hate the idea of a needle piercing through my veins and injecting something. I can't look at people getting injected with something because I get a phantom pain where the needle would be on my skin. I find it better to look at the needle so I don't imagine the worst.
I am still a lil scared by have overcome like 90% of my fear (I used to cry and scream and the nurse would have to hold me down). So just vocalise that youre uncomfortable and then focus on breathing. Think nice interesting thoughts and think about how in literally seconds it will be over.
