Yeah its not bad. Constantly getting burned is probably the worst part of the job. Got 2nd degree burns covering my arms a couple weeks ago. Was pulling a rack out of the oven (400 degrees F), and all the pans and hot bread fell on me. I have picks if anyone would like to see

do you ever get shit from ur boss if u drop a pan of bread? or do they just have you throw it away and bake another batch?

Im right now unemployed (but not full neet since I do study). What are some good entry level jobs I can work in?

The job can be satisfying if you have coworkers who put in more than minimum effort. Then you start to get things done, your store looks better than other stores in the area, you feel like what you do actually makes a difference. If your entire staff consists of apathetic employees, then you will fall into apathy, as well.

I'm losing my mind, I've never felt "depressed" before in my life. Now I dread waking up everyday and drink until I black out every night.

One time when I was a teenager my friends and I were drinking on some boat (we snuck in to the marina), we went on a beer run and as we were walking back we passed a bakery where the overnight guys were working. Door was wide open for some reason and it smelled fucking amazing so we went in, absolutely shithoused. Dudes working in there were so fucking chill and they traded us loaves of bread for beers. Really good bread too. I love overnight bakers because of this.

Work is alright. Sometimes I sit at my desk, e-mail around or write stuff, sometimes I'm walking around getting stuff out of the archives or whatever. No future career in this though, dead end job. Still kinda comfy. Still live at home, couldn't live off this with the way rent is here.

I probably undersold it. McDonalds and shelf stacking you still have to deal with customers. I imagine even as the cook, you get trained as a cashier so on certain days you might have to fill in for them. Loading bags in an airport you get none of that. The check in counters deal with passengers while you in a completely different area away from people get to do some manual lifting in peace. The only similar job I could think of is working in a warehouse.

Job is easy. It's 8-4 and I spend most of the day browsing the web on my phone or listening to music. I still want higher pay though and HR is pushing some bullshit policies to limit raises starting this year.

Also I live with my parents, am a kissless virgin, and have no social contacts other than family. My only other job was 15 months at walmart and I'm so fucking glad I got out of that shithole. I was expecting to be in low wage service hell for the rest of my life. I truly do feel bad for all of you stuck in that position.

Hey, I'm interested in being a software engineer. What can I do to prepare for the job? Any tips?

Full of shit.

Start school at 18, get your med license in 6 years, you're 24 by the time you start.

You're now immediately hired into a practice making 360k/yr?

360k gets taxed down to roughly 300k depending where you live.

Lets assume your parents paid for all your medical school.

So in 2 years if you saved every single penny you'd have 600k.

Ya sure kid.

Software engineer is a meme title. Don't take it so seriously. Most of us who are called that understand it's nothing like being an actual engineer.

I'm very nice to her, took her out to dinner tonight and she's passed out because unlike me she works normal hours and sleeps normal hours. Pic related, id love to wake her as I'm not often off Friday's, but she doesn't like to be woke up
