My gf is like that... It's made my life shit. Tried to get her iut of drugs just to end up making her hate me, I gained back her affection but it costed me my fucking soul, I feel like I'm a shell of what I used to be, she didn't ruin my life or anything, she just made the last 2/3 years of my life quite miserable and hard to tolerate while I'm away from her. I'm basically addicted to her and this made me appreciate even more my ex gf, a conservative catholic girl who just wanted a loving man who would marry her and give her a big family... I fucked up pretty bad and now I wish I had taken different choices in life or at the very least I wish I hadn't fallen so hard for this girl

this is pretty much my gf but we don't really do drugs. we drink often (though not heavily anymore).

we got high once off edibles together and watched ghost world and ended up getting way too high cuz no tolerance whatsoever and had to put ourselves to bed. ended up alternating napping with waking up suddenly with revelations about the blandness of suburbia and the sweet/sour nostalgia of high school. remembering how idyllic it was and carefree but then also in hindsight how depressing it was and still is
