When did you guys realise that flat barbell bench is a meme that will just lead to pec tears?

When did you guys realise that flat barbell bench is a meme that will just lead to pec tears?

Dumbells, incline and flies are all you need for a juicy chest

>Jeff Seid is s-still cool guys!

>pec tears
>on bench
What kind of freak barrel chest do you have? Dumbell flat bench and flies are more likely to tear your shit up than a barbell.

when I tore my pec

Honestly? It took me 5 years
I still do flat bench, but on the smith-machine, with a wide grip and low weight and I go for reps

not op but i switched to incline after messing up my shoulder

>flat bench on smith machine

I'm confused, are you trying to increase your chance of injury rather than lower it?

Sounds painfull

Incline is worse for my shoulders

When people ask, I just take my incline max and add 25% :^)
I haven't flat benched in two years 2bh

>dumbell bench is safer for muscles and tendons than barbell bench
Ask me how I know you’re dyel
Try doing flat bench with 120 lb dumbbells idiot

Delightfully devilish, btw what is your incline to OHP ratio?

No, to the contrary, I injured my shoulder back when I was doing 2 plates and a half for reps on standard benchpress.
Nowadays my chest workout is mainly dumbells, cables and machines

Do not do bench press with a smith machine you dingus you might as well go ahead and slice your rotator cuffs in half with a knife

I've been lifting for 10 years.
Don't tell me what to do. Again, I go light (one plate)

My incline is 195, and OHP is one pl8. I've been doing incline for longer, though.

>lifting for 10 years and doesn’t know that benching with a smith machine is literally the worst possible thing you can do in the gym

Is that what the guy in this photo says? Or just a nobody like you?

My chest went from left to right in less than a year doing nothing but flat barbell bench and incline DB press. I never did flies or anything else.

Not to mention that you might as well not even lift if you don't do bench, since the first thing everyone asks is how much do you bench.

oh my god user delete this
what a fucking disugsting pick, this is hideous

That is like the worst fucking photo I have seen in my life. Why would you ever use a sitting shot to show off your body, let alone one of you taking a shit.

Because most gyms only carry 80 - 100 lbs dbs.

If you cant bench more than 225 you have other problems.

Will doing bench make my gyno worse? Should I stick to incline bp instead?

>flies

lmao

Hideous risk:benefit ratio

>lifting for at least 2 years
>only lmao1pl8 OHP
hmm

Jeff pls

>Benching at all

Enjoy your man boobs. Like Seid says if you must bench do it on an incline with a thumbless grip. Only way to hit the inner chest.
