I usually eat banana with peanut butter or a packet of fish before my workout and afterwards I drink a tall glass of chocolate cashew protein milk.

I cant stomach solid foods for an hour or two after my workout. It would make me puke.

Usually about 100 calories of salami or other lunch meat

Or nuts

i exercise in a fasted state, but have a protein shake afterwards.

Lift early-as-fuck in the morning so I’m not fucking around making an organic, chia seed egg white omelette with cous-cous like some bellend.

>Before
Protein bar and a glass of milk.

>After
2 Scoop Shake.
250g Turkey Thigh Mince, 200g Broccoli/Asparagus/Kale, ball of Mozzarella.

Inb4 ‘protein bars are a meme’. I don’t care, I just need something with some carbs in before I lift after dragging my ass out of bed at 5am.

Bump

How much time should you wait after eating before going to the gym if you eat something light like oats for example?

hmm, should I count my whole lunch or just the last item shoved into my mouth?
>chicken breast
>broccoli
>rice
>banana
then we go
>banana
>2 cups milk
>can of tuna
>kiwi
it boils down to same thing as this if you want to get particular about the linearity of it though

Light breakfast before
>Small bowl of cereal
>PB sandwich with banana or yogurt

Or if I worked (I start at 7 and can't be bothered to function before 6:35): Whatever snack I had during my break
>Pretzels
>Apples
>Muffin

Essentially Dinner after
>Large salad with tuna salad
>Chicken and rice

Same

If it's just oats with water I think half of an hour it's good enough

If it's oats with milk you should wait like an hour before

Before
Banana and oats
After
4 eggs, avocado, protein shake

banana PB oatmeal with nuts seeds and raisins and a tiny scoop of protein.
approx 1.5hrs before i go training.

People can say what the fuck they want' but i ain't about that vomiting underwater life.
Not eating a meal directly before swimming ain't a joke.
Tumbling every 25m, never enough air and high intensity sprints with a stomach full of food...
fuck no.

Oh
and then a banana + a shake straight after.
