How do you go about this task?

Remake ancient Greece

> Put a tax on sugary drinks
> Make physical fitness a higher priority in elementary and high school
> Mandatory FPS/FPH classes
> Get rid of the EBT program, preferably roll it into the WIC program
> More incentives for Farmer's Market participation
> Be like Korea and force 2 years of military service on anyone ages 18 to 35

You can't force people to be fit. Sugary snacks, fast food, and other convenience items will always exist and those who do not want to put in the effort to rise above will always exist.

Getting fit isn't a byproduct of your surroundings, it's an internal desire.

SS + GOMAD

>Raise taxes
Oh no, a bloo bloo bloo, you want a quality society, you gotta pay for one. The imaginary Libertarian utopia where no-one pays taxes and rich people pay for roads out of the kindness of their hearts or some shit doesn't exist. This includes that whole Offshore Banking bullshit - close the loopholes.

>Raise the Minimum Wage to genuine livable wage
Gets rid of poverty-level people, the whole "but I've got no money to cook healthy meals, give me a $1 cheesburger my man" argument gets BTFO. If your company can't survive if you pay your employees well? Guess what, you're shit at business. Bye,

>Build more houses
Links to the getting rid of poverty, "but muh house prices" - you only need one house. More than one house? Watch that shit get taxed. "But I'm a private landlord a wahhhh" - get a fucken real job, you scrounging fuck. How dare you make a profit from a basic human need.

>Actual Physical Education, Cookery classes and budgeting classes in schools
Get quality teachers who are specialised in their subjects, and pay them a competitive wage to get the best in field. Why the hell wouldn't you want your kids to be taught by the best? Why would you want some paedo-lookin ass motherfucker who doesn't know shit teaching your kids PE? Or some dopey housewife teaching your kids how to cook?
Also provide decent equipment, Teach sports that kids like. Also, teaching kids proper healthy and delicious meals, and budgeting as well. It's a no brainer. Teach delayed gratification.

>Taxes on unhealthy shit, tax breaks on healthy shit.
McDonalds gets taxed, so the price of their food makes it become a treat as opposed to something people eat a few times a week. The restaurant providing cheap and healthy meals gets breaks.

>Pump money into sports, especially at the grassroots level.
Want to be fit, and earn a living? Why not try getting into sports?

>Pump money into jobs that require physical labour
Gardening schemes, litter picking, building cool shit etc etc

LOL
just a bit off

choose sexiest men and women from a general population and enslave everyone else, making them work that purely to serve my state
get sexy ppl to fuck, throw ugly and retard babies off nearest cliff
make men separate from women and dedicate their lives to fitness and knowledge whilst altogether forming what can be utilised as an army
leave women to live life as they please separated from the men, teaching them that fitness is paramount for healthy births and personal health and beauty
allow men and women of an age range in the mid 20's to marry and live together after army service (ending at 35 years old) finishes
continue stable, sexy society whilst the under class does all the menial labour
this is success

Fat tax, literally your body fat becomes your tax percentage. If you have 30% body fat, 30% tax. That'll freak the shit out of people. Old people that'll be cut in half cause they're old

I too have read xenophon

g'day champ

ohohohohohohoho

make every door thin and 200 pounds.

What material would be that dense for a 200 pound thin door?? Sounds fun though, imagine cops trying to kick one down

Abolish all socialism/welfare. If you want to be fat, it isn't going to be at the tax payers expense at least.

Free gym memberships (should be anyway in countries that Rob us blind via tax)

Do your own homework, you stupid faggot

Maybe an incentive would be good too, like if you go every day for 15/30 days you get a tax break or some sort

>will always exist

Outlaw them. Sure, there will be lawbreakers who still make/sell/use them, but fuck them. They'll be on the fringes of society whereas the middle of the bell curve will be fit and have the dominant social pressure.

I agree with all of this.

Holy fuck. This is almost genius. I would make their bf% a tax modifier, not the whole thing. But yes: the fatter you are, the more pressure you put on all social systems, so you pay more tax.

>The imaginary Libertarian utopia where no-one pays taxes and rich people pay for roads out of the kindness of their hearts or some shit doesn't exist.

Yeah the Nazis sure BURNED a load of calories and really GASSED people out.

>healthy food is free

>gyms are free if you go regulary (there is allredy a cashback in germany)
>more bodyfatt = more taxes to pay
>you get paid holydays for fatcamps
>free diät help
>Nutrition education in Schools

Yeah, or vouchers to spend at a farmer's market

I promise you the fatties that complain about muh 1 dollar cheese burger can't afford oats/lentils/veg will just change their time to something more abstract like 'society should just accept us, face it, some people are just born fat ;)) or society made us this way, much genetics

Stop subsidizing corn.
Tax all sugar to pay for outoor gym parks.

>just making everything "healthy" free
fuck off commie, nothing is free.

boob training exercises

>How dare you make a profit from a basic human need.
Yeah, fuck farmers.

Nope. But a government subsidizes what is useful and helpful for the population in general. So everyone, even the fatties, pay for the good stuff.

:^)

Literally just Nazi Germany, I'm not even joking. Just do everything Hitler did, but succeed this time around.

In the U.S? By forcing kids to be active in school. We have a government mandated pacer test given to students, but they almost universally fail it because they can't run. This leads them to a life of laziness in school. Also school gyms tend to be undefunded messes, with few opportunities to play sports like tennis, volleyball etc because there is only one net typically.

>ban fast food
>massive tax on all products that contain sugar
>proper education about nutrition and exercise from early age
>make it a law that all food must have a standardised and easily readable format with nutritional info on all food packaging
>fat children = child abuse
>encourage fat shaming
>health tax (tax cuts for healthy people)
>tax cuts for healthy foods/drinks

I tax people per pound of fat on their body. I either end up with a fit nation or grossly rich from all the tax.

If you live in an already taxed cucktry, why not use some of it to provide poor people with free gym passes. The health benefits would save public health costs...

Eliminate all stairs, sidewalks, crosswalks, etc. Replace with dip bars, climbing structures. You have to bench 50% of your max 10 times to cross a red light. There are no cars so everyone just jogs and exercises to work. All doors are 10x the normal weight. Phones weigh 25 lbs, shopping carts are 200lbs on wheels. You wipe your ass with tin foil. Books are made of lead. Everything is a workout.

I like this idea

Try me, twink.

You I'd send to gulag.

I want to read their manuals, they must have been knowing what they were doing. They aren't dumb people

we really fuck up our physical education. most of the time it's just a second (or I guess in some places now the only) recess where you play kickball and dodgeball most of the year and then get tested on things you never work on improving. the amount of pe teachers I had who wondered why no kids could do pullups despite the fact that we never once did them outside of tests is absurd. the only thing we'd practice was running the mile, and we didn't do that too frequently because no one enjoyed it

I have a few ideas...

Oh course we won't force them, it's called coercing them. Tax the fuck out of fat people, that'll make them want to work out to not get taxed.

Hilarious as I've seen these exact statues in person.

For the UK
>instate sugar tax
>put heavy emphasis on PE in schools, in addition to cooking and budgeting
>encourage participation in sports beyond school
>offer tax incentives for those who make least use of the NHS, such as offering a tax break on national insurance contribution to allow healthier citizens to more easily afford private insurance in place of NHS
>ban or heavily reduce number of fast food outlets, and raise prices of those that remain
And so on and so forth

>Have nutritional courses all through out schooling
>Teach home economic and cooking courses in mid to later years of school to teach healthy food cooking
>Actual physical fitness classes that have moderate physical exams that need to be passed
>Youth outdoor programs that take children to the great out doors to get them away from screens and show them the fun of being active and outside.

Attached: YourSonsWillNeverBeThisAlpha.jpg (964x600, 177K)

Crazy ain't it... ever wonder why it's not really like this?

>to allow healthier citizens to more easily afford private insurance in place of NHS
why would they need private health care then?

What I mean is if you're recognisably healthy and don't make use of NHS services (the greatest common use of which is increasingly for conditions related to obesity), you should be able to receive a break from contributing to national insurance since you aren't making use of the service. With the money you save from such a break, you could choose to take out private insurance so that on the rare occasions that you do need medical treatment, you don't have to rely on the NHS, which in turn frees the NHS up a little more for those that are making greater use of it.

That would 100% finish off the NHS once and for all, other than that the sugar tax should be a definite and more PE focus in school wouldn’t go amiss

Just bring back national service, how many fat Koreans do you see

>tfw the sugar tax is only planned to apply to drinks
Huge missed opportunity, could do so much more.
They aren't just skinny because of national service lad, wouldn't explain the thin women either

America used to be this 50 years ago. What happened?

(rhetorical. I know exactly what happened. High Fructose Corn Syrup.)

if those tax breaks come out of the NHS budget, then I highly doubt that would balance. the subsidies would have to be (very small) flat deduction instead of a percentage
persons eligible for such a scheme barely make a dent on the NHS' time and resources at the moment, so it would effectively require more tax from more regular users, which almost defeats the purpose of a national health service

Tax citizens, give tax funded benefits to Jow Forums citizens.

They have a pretty sick method of doing it in "brave new world" and everyone is happy. You have to condition everyone in their sleep from a baby to a teenager that being fat and unhealthy is bad for society and will make you shunned.

Can't fight conditioning that's been drilled into your subconscious

Idk about putting it on food too, would they go full on cunt and apply it to fruit too? If I was a seedy lawmaker I definitely would. Maybe if it was for refined sugar only but drinks is definitely a start and arguably the main problem. Especially with young people who get given coke instead of water these days

Attached: CA807141-ABBA-4C4A-A1EB-7F729184BE9F.png (311x486, 204K)

Fruit, no. Sugary snacks, treats etc. absolutely. Nobody ever ended up obese solely from eating good, home-cooked food, it takes eating crap on the side to do it. I remember when I was a kid, fizzy drinks and snacks were either outright banned or closely monitored if you brought a packed lunch (admittedly that was at primary). But even at secondary we had a limit on how much of certain kinds of food we could buy from the school lunch shop. I'd be all for doing that nation-wide.

I'd accept a flat deduction. The NHS now has the car insurance problem, in that national insurance contributions increasingly go towards paying for those who take little to no care for their own health and end up needing treatment, as opposed to simply providing socialised basic healthcare to help maintain a generally good level of health nationwide.

True enough, but NS would make young men get in to exercising and that's when they usually start to get fat. I suppose there is no reason for the women not to do NS either, I don't want the country to be war mongers and go around starting shit, just for the citizens to learn some basic life skills and discipline
After that if people get fat there is probably no saving them

Yeah but the problem with NS is what do you do afterwards? Its fine if you start off with a greater emphasis on health at a young age, THEN do NS, because it means that kids are likely to preserve those principles and carry them forwards. Right now its not uncommon for even late-teenagers/early-twenties to have no clue when it comes to nutrition/cooking etc. When I was at uni it was almost a given that most guys would put on at least 2-3 stone whilst at uni, between the heavy drinking, availability of cheap unhealthy food, and an absolute inability to cook. In my first year in halls, I was the only male student in the flat (of 14) who cook come close to cooking. A flatmate put on around 4 stone between the end of first year and our graduation.

Would you be able to take that further and just get completely rid of packed lunches and give kids a set meal plan in schools for free? A healthy, micronutrient rich and varied diet at that young of an age would do wonders, especially for students that are less well off and neglected at home. Then again thatcher took away fucking milk so free school meals for everyone is kind of down the pan budget wise.

Side note: these are the threads that make Jow Forums great. Good discussions about relevant topics to further humanity. Good work for once lads

You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like

In America, a lot of companies will reimburse your gym membership. One company I worked for even gave everyone a free Fitbit and gave us rewards for maintaining X steps for Y days.

For free? I doubt it. I used to take a packed lunch because we couldn't afford 'dinner money' for school lunches. In an ideal world, schools would have the budget to afford to provide exactly what you described; healthy, varied, highly nutritious meals designed to keep kids full, alert, and in the best state possible to learn. Sad thing is, projects like that would be incredibly expensive. Even at boarding school lunches were something that the school struggled with in a sense; its an easy place to cut when it comes to budgeting, and healthy stuff is expensive, even when you have students paying tens of thousands a year in fees. God bless scholarships.

And remember user: threads are only as degenerate as you allow them to be. Always try to drag threads towards something resembling decency.t kills me.

>Raise taxes
false equivilance only 2 choices being either having high taxes or no taxes at all
>Raise the minimium wage
a liveable raise is $20+ an hour. all those people working for shit businesses are now unemployed and making 0$ and hr. not to mention US imports are now tanked.
>build more houses
taxing landlords will literally just increase rents
>physical education/ cookery classes
I agree with this but fatties would revolt
>taxes on unhealthy shit
good
>pump money into sports
Good idea but this already happens at the local level, fed government would fuck this up bigtime.
>pump money into jobs that require physical labor
physical labor doesnt make you fit long term. Every physical labor guy I knows body is totally fucked by the time he is 50, if a robot can do it for cheaper why make a human do it.

>hurr durr the gubmint can spend my money better than I can

Ironically, the only people for whom this is actually true don't have any anyway.

>hurr durr muh minimum wage

What is inflation

Why not set MW to 1000$ an hour, then everybody would be rich

Why the foil?
Also, what about travel and vacations? No cars is going to be a big limiting factor in a lot of this. But, I guess that's not part of what OP was wanting.

>Gets rid of poverty-level people, the whole "but I've got no money to cook healthy meals, give me a $1 cheeseburger my man" argument gets BTFO. If your company can't survive if you pay your employees well? Guess what, you're shit at business. Bye,
That argument is already btfo since healthy foods are significantly cheaper than unhealthy foods pretty much everywhere. Not only that but the primary issue tends to be overeating so all these people have to do is to spend LESS on food to get a healthier diet. On top of that many of the people who complain about food already receive assistance from their respective governments to make sure that they are properly fed and housed. As such they are already getting a minimum wage for just existing in the first place.

>Links to the getting rid of poverty, "but muh house prices" - you only need one house. More than one house? Watch that shit get taxed. "But I'm a private landlord a wahhhh" - get a fucken real job, you scrounging fuck. How dare you make a profit from a basic human need.
You say this but at the same time you are the type of person that would advocate for increased income taxes and property taxes. By your logic it's terrible when individuals charge people for basic shit like houses they don't own, but it's fucking fine when the government does it!
>B-but you don't need a high paying job!!! THE POOR WON'T BE TAXED!!!
So watch what happens when you give people a minimum wage that covers all living costs and allows individuals to live comfortably and happily AND make it tax free and then tax everyone who makes a single cent more than that to hell and back.

>McDonalds gets taxed, so the price of their food makes it become a treat as opposed to something people eat a few times a week. The restaurant providing cheap and healthy meals gets breaks.
McDonalds is already significantly more expensive than making healthy food at home as I stated before.

Because those with agendas contrary to it gained power before those who had agendas that support it. It requires a socially-focused and improvement-aimed mindset, but we're all selfish bastards. So we worry about ourselves and our profits instead of our neighbor's health.

Now I am an actual literal fascist when it comes to education. I believe that the school system should be both better funded and expanded. Instead of relying upon shitty fucking twenty something parents who can't even take care of themselves the school system should be ready with people hired to help provide the student the socializing they need. Study hall for students to complete homework in. An actual school breakfast and lunch that is fit for students to eat and is appetizing. School programs after schools for the students that can't/dont want to go home because literally no one would be there for them, etc.

This would also involve Gym every day with students doing a mix of weight and cardio days.

Seattle instituted a sugar tax recently. Any comments on that?
