I like synthwave or retrowave or whatever it's called. The shit that sounds like an 80s action movie soundtrack. When I started lifting heavy though, I had to switch to something more intense, something more aggressive. I usually listen to some kind of metal while lifting.

Early 90's techno, Detroit techno and acid house are all great choices for cardio. Rhythmic, repeating, minimalist music like this will kind of put you into a trance when you are doing cardio.
