You're already doing enough for legs. Rows, cable rows, pullups, hyperextensions are the core back exercises.

Deads dont do anything that you're not already doing except ensure you're fucking up your spine.

Deadlift is literally one of the best exercises in existence and aside from a small minority of people, if you fuck yourself up on it it's because your form was atrocious

Rows are the only exercise I do on the machine because I don't feel like I get anything from a Pendlay or Yates row plus I have some trouble pulling my lats too and keeping wrist form. Oh well.

Those guys are complete retards. Just google "Deadlift Pros and Cons" and all the articles say pretty much: "One of the best ways to build back and hamstrings, one of the best strength builders, but easy to do wrong and easy to overtrain".
That said, if you have herniated disks, you probably shouldn't be doing them until you are 100% sure you can do them without risking your lower back.
