Today I failed 102kg for a single. That was a warmup.
I practiced different setups as well (looking down, low bar position etc.) and did "worksets" with 60~kg on the bar and not only did it tire me out, even that weight hurt my hip.
Soon I think I'll be one of those guys that bench more than they squat.
At least the deadlift is steadily increasing.

Honestly I've come to realise there really isn't much wrong with occasionally slightly lifting your ass off the bench, or heels off the ground or whatever groovy thing you tend to do with your bench.
Unless you're however many weeks out of competition, I don't see the downside. All that's really happened is I've gotten bigger and stronger and missed less reps, regardless if I lift with perfect competition form or not.
Obviously the majority of my reps aren't like this, but hell man, better to lift my ass up a bit to get the final rep of the final set then just fail it.
