You need to work a horrible min wage job for 6+ months so u can put it on ur resume so the cushier no skill jobs will hire you, trust me.

I applied to target couple years ago, no response, I worked as min wage cashier for a year, quit, applied to target 6 months ago, and they called me back next day, and hired me on the spot after their interview process. It's only $11.50/hour but it's more than I was making as cashier (8.50) and it's much less stressful.

I worked in a factory for 9 months and it does nothing for my resume, I don't care what i get ether a shitty min wag job sounds great.

I've only had one company actually ask for this and it was a security company. They also wanted a criminal background check, for obvious reasons.

My Walmart job did this. I can't say how another place would do it but ya. They treated us like grade schoolers and gave everyone a name plate written on paper. The hiring manager asked us general questions and information about the jobs we were applying for, they even had as fucking do the thing where you partner up and interview each other for some crazy ass reason, and ask each other walmart related questions from a sheet.

This is probably an immigration scam. A nearby gas station has had a now hiring sheet taped to the front door for 4+ months now (not exaggerating) in a way that no one entering the store can miss it. This station is right en route to and 10 mins away walking from a high school with over a thousand kids, some of whom go there for lunch to get snacks and drinks. A few years ago, this same station had a hiring sign for 6+ months. I find it difficult to believe a busy gas station on a busy intersection that gets heavy traffic from high schoolers who need jobs can't find someone for that long
