Now that the dust has settled /fit. Do you need to lift heavy to look good? Will slower reps and feeling the burn be just as good as lifting heavy for 5 reps or so?

You dont understand do you?

You need both.

Example. My chest and triceps are HELL of a lot more developed benching 2+ plates for high reps feeling the burn, than they were when I was only benching 1 plate for high reps feeling the burn.

The point is you use strength training to get stronger, so then you can do high volume with more weight.

I got my Bench to 315 for 3x3, now I can bench 265x15+ rep fairly easily, it's nice and fun and I get a crazy good pump and burn. The same applies to every other body part and lift.
Or you can not listen to me and continue just benching 135 for the rest of your life hoping and praying one day you'll magically just big a muscular chest.

What did he mean by this?

>The point is you use strength training to get stronger, so then you can do high volume with more weight.
Basically this. This is why you should run a tough LP to get your strength up before upping your volume. It's crazy how strong a good 3*5 LP will get you if you're eating enough and training hard.

What do I have to hit to get my own harem of Asian milktruks to get BLEACHED by my Big Bavarian Cock?

2/3/4/5 + 6 figure income?

I don't want a one time thing I want like 2-3+ wives/bangmaids to have around and tickle my pickle all day. Also they would probably do dyke stuff too ideally and know how to cook.

>slower reps and feeling the burn
That will train more of the muscle. Just blasting out heavy weights doesn't hit all the fibers.

What matters is an appropriate weight, being smart enough to hit all the muscle with a good speed, and doing it to failure (being unable to complete a rep with good form). In essence, you should be doing 10-12 reps and be failing by the 12th. If you think you can do 1-2 more then up the weight on the next set, if you hit 8-9 lower it next set.

>That nip slip by the middle nip

>how much nip could a nip nip slip if a slip nip could nip slip

Explain please? How do you work in volume as well as strength? Do you periodize or do you alternate workouts? I’m super new and am stalling at 150 on bench for 3x5 after starting with 100 for 3x5 a few months ago. I’ve put on 15 pounds of weight since Christmas but those gains are stalling as well. Would alternating a volume and a strength session on my lifts shake it up a little?

i have reported you to the mods

Good job on the weight gain dude. If it's stalling you need to up your calories by a good bit.

I noticed that 3*5 isn't enough for upper body exercises. I try to do 5*5 ever second day for upper body lifts to drive progress

Once you have built up your strength through LP you can do much more volume because you will be able to do high reps with much heavier weights. Simple enough senpai

What is LP an acronym for?

>having tits so big you don´t fit into clothes people normally wear

What is this OP ? I know it isn´t AV porn based on the camera so what is it ?

No. You'll see aesthetic people lifting bitch weight all the time.

max weight low reps for strength, lowed weight high reps for hypertrophy

No you don't need to, however doing so at least occasionally makes it easier as you can hypertrophy fast twitch fibres and train your nervous system to better handle any load in the same pattern of movement i.e. if you raise your 1 RM, you raise your 15 RM.

>you raise your 1 RM, you raise your 15 RM.
I really don't think this is true. Getting stronger doesn't help with muscular endurance.

It doesn't really.
But the SS/SL powerlifting shills have been spitting out this lie to ignorant naifs on this site for so long that they can't go back on it without being outed as lying scumbags.

Linear progression

High reps stealing gains is pure broscience

To get bigger you need to eat

Can I do both at the same time? Or do I have to build a pure strength base and then start hypertrophy training?

Like what if I train for strength with my big 4 lifts and use accessories at high reps for hypertrophy? Or what if I train heavy a few times a week and train for size a few times a week?

>lifting heavy
>5 reps
Lol

user...
The idea that you can train for pure strength or hypertrophy as a natural is the most insanely idiotic bunch of bullshit ever concieved of.

It's something that was shat out and firmly religiously believed by absolute fucking idiots or genetic dead ends who hoped on gear early as fuck in their career and probably believed just as you do.

You quite honestly have to lift for strength, strength endurance, and mass to progress in weight training as a natural man.

Period.

I keep reading here about guys who are insanely strong yet small af because all they do is weightlift. I want to look good mainly. So what would be best for me? Been lifting for over a year still look like shit and pretty weak..
