How to improve my back?
I only do deadlifts
How to improve my back?
I only do deadlifts
by not only doing deadlifts
Do more back exercises
I’m thinking about doing seated rows and lat pulldown. Are there any free-weight exercises I should compliment with? Like rack pulls?
you can try reverse dumbbell flies and see if that works for you, different people find different things more comfortable
Pull up
Dumbell rows are always fun
Both look interesting, I’ll give them a go, ty anons
By doing resistive back exercises
>225 deadlifts
WHY IS MY BACK SO SMALL HURRR?
good work lad, you will make it
I never mentioned my DL though
Love your bathroom, looks cosy af
Haha thanks bro, is indeed a very comfy bathroom
What's your dl then?
weighted pullups dude
225
Pull-ups. Make sure to lean back and pull with your lats and not your biceps.
Do lat pulldown until you can do like 2/3 your body weight for like, 3x10, then start doing pull ups. Any kind of row variation will make your back explode because that's what it's for (Pendlay rows in particular worked really well to hit between my shoulder blades)
pull ups chin ups,rows..that is all.
>I only do deadlifts
We can see that
You NEED to hit rack pulls at least two times a week as a natty lifter, trust me, it will make your traps and upper back explode in size.
Complement this with weighted chins, and barbell rows and you should be golden.
Make sure to get enough sleep as well as a calorie surplus and more than 0.82g of protein per lb of body weight. Godspeed, user.
Heavy pendlays
Pendlay rows are great because they're explosive and put a lot of weight into your posterior chain.
At a certain point you'll have to budget for it considering training economy but it looks like that won't be for a few hundred more pounds
Barbell rows and single arm cable rows horizontal and vertical
