The 20 year generational model is kind of obsolete in modern times since culture moves a lot quicker than it did before before. The recent upswing in conservative values isn't limited to people under 24 or so. It's not a generational difference, it's was a society wide reaction.

And also, don't expect it to last too much longer either. The left is slowly but surely mounting a comeback.

I don't know if it's just because I'm at a university but every other Gen Z kid in my class and around my age range are either far left liberals or commies. Closest people I've found to my ideology are centrists and we usually don't agree on much. Maybe I'm just in the wrong place but I'm the only right wing person I know where I'm at
