There are people who commit crimes on purpose, just so they get caught and go to prison... Because in prison , you have to do jack shit. The state is paying for your survival. You don't have to work. And you can do almost anything you want.

You might have heared of Varg Vikernes. A norwegian metal-musician who got 20 prison because he was involved with a murder, althought there was no evidence it was acctually him who commited the murder. Now, that guy wrote book, recorded multiple records, and studied, while being in prison.
