Don't really watch much anime, but Code Geass will forever remain my favorite anime, there's just something about it that makes me come back and rewatch it, i honestly wish i could erase my memories of it so i could enjoy it in all it's unspoiled fresh glory, but i can't say i enjoyed the akito of whatever movies, had to force myself to watch it to the end

Personally for me, it's a reviewer taking a more in depth look at the anime and pointing out it's problems, since i usually tend to turn my brain of when watching anime/TV shows/movies so i don't really notice the faults in an anime, unless they are obvious

It's fun when they're trying to get a new manga serialized but the whole arc where Mashiro got hospitalized was fucking garbage. The work yourself to death culture in Japan and the manga industry is retarded and the editor in chief was right to shut them down. Also the romance was shit and PCP > Reversi.

I used to watch a bit of anime back in highschool, primarily in my junior year, which was about 3 years ago

So, it's been a while, my primary issues with anime now are mostly the way they tell stories verses how western movies tell a story, there's too much exposition in dialogue in Japanese, I'd rather watch events unfold than listen to the characters talk a lot
Japan does do a great job with horror movies, but I don't speak Japanese at all, so I just put up with subtitles or American adaptations.
