Hell yea but I don't want to wait until 2077
Already I can't handle his douchy chad voice so nupe.
wheres the gameplay
When it's ready(tm)(r)(c)
fuck yes, been waiting so long.
I'm hoping its more than GTA Night City. I want it have actual classes/various play styles
They said today that you'll be able to create your own character and Pondsmith(the creator of the tabletop game who's helping with this) said that all of the classes are in. You can notice homages to almost all of pic related in the trailer too.
also hidden text from the E3 broadcast.
I didn't see this, that's pretty neat actually.
No it isn't, shut the fuck up you little bitch.
thats cool and the creator is in on this so it should be good I think my hope is rising to high . . .
Yeah it is, i didn't even notice the hidden text.
red is one of the few teams worth trusting at least.
I never played Witcher so I guess I wouldn't know
Not really my setting for a game, but i still enjoyed it.
I like that since they're Valve-tier as far as devs go they can release the game whenever they deem fit, no rush to meet any bullshit deadline set by publishers or appease stockholders. Even if it comes out total garbage it'll be the game they wanted to make and that's something lost to vidya ever since the 90s.
Yes but I still haven't touched Witcher 3 even though it's been on my shelf since release.
I agree with you 100%, although i would consider them above valve.
I would have to agree and I have noticed a rise in quality indie games because they can do what they want and experiment more
Just go to Hong Kong or Tokyo
too expensive now but I had a layover in Tokyo once and I've been to Seoul
Seoul seems like it would be fun to visit, is it anything like Shenzhen ?
I would say yes but my guess is more people speak English in Seoul. A very clean city but a lot more American than I was expecting
Yeah, that would be nice. I'm not even basic conversational level in Korean yet. Clean part would especially be nice compared to how messy mainland china is and how poor they up keep stuff but i also find that's kinda the charm of it all.
old valve tier, post-orange box it went to shit imo.
I can see your point of view, im a little biased i guess i never really cared for their games outside of portal.
You trying to learn Korean??
I also went to a smaller town that had a market main street, was very cozy but not as American friendly
Yeah, about two months now. Do you speak any?
Not after the world-class disappointment that was tw3 that's for sure. A shame because the premise could have been great. Sadly the devs have clearly sold out and have no intention to make a good game.
that looks pretty stupid
nop
I know bullgogi or whatever but thats it
You should learn something user,it's a nice side hobby to have.
I though about the Japanese meme but a friend who learned alot told me Korean basically is easy to learn since they redid the language or something. idk I think I want to learn piano and/or photography
Piano is fun to learn.
cya around user
peace tripfag
No?
I have no idea what the fuck it is.
And why are so many people hyped for a game that was literally just announced when there is zero gameplay or anything.
We know who's making it and we know what type of game they want it to be. They have a good track record.
>literally just announced
Underageb& everybody
>world-class disappointment that was tw3
You're really good at being overly dramatic.
Had* a good track record. Then they made tw3.
>We know who's making it
Who? Someone famous?
> and we know what type of game they want it to be
So what is that exactly? It looks like they want it to be GTA but set in the future.
Im pretty sure im old enough to be your stepdad.
Read the description of the video in the OP.
Thanks. I learn from the best.
It was a real blow to fans of the series, though, and very mediocre to everyone else. It's such a shame since they could have done so much better if they weren't spreading themselves thin and spending all their money on marketing and consoles.
I have no idea who any of these people are.
But i guess its going to be like GTA and Fallout then
>It was a real blow to fans of the series, though, and very mediocre to everyone else.
Keep in mind that you're speaking for yourself because "everyone else" and "fans of the series" don't believe what you've said. Old fans and new players generally love the game. It actually doesn't make your points weaker to not appeal to the masses in this way, especially when the masses don't really agree with what you're saying.
You're the kinda guy who would walk a quarter mile to approach a celebrity and ask him "why should I care who you are"?
Im curious about the game so naturally im asking all these questions.
Had zero knowledge about the creators or what its about until this thread actually.
Wrong on all counts as evidences plenty everywhere, be it on forums worldwide or /v/. Nice try paid advertiser.
>a lot more American
in what ways?
My years-long hype for it has reached new levels but the title card and it's animation reminds me of Tekken
American stores and fashion. And a surprising amount of them speak good English.
I went to Okinawa a couple times and compared to them the Koreans just seem more like us
What are you talking about?
boards.fireden.net
/v/ loved it, players loved it.
>paid advertiser.
I told you about the evidence that most people who've played TW3 like TW3, I didn't endorse it or tell you to buy it. I didn't even say it was good.

It's been over 2077 days since we announced our plan to develop Cyberpunk 2077. We released a CGI trailer, gave some interviews and... went dark. Normal procedure for these kinds of things - you announce a game then shut up, roll up your sleeves and go to work. We wanted to give you The Witcher 3 and both expansions first, which is why this period of staying silent was longer than we planned. Sorry for that.
As soon as we concluded work on Blood and Wine, we were able to go full speed ahead with CP2077's pre-production. But we chose to remain silent. Why? At some point, we made a decision to resume talking about the game only when we have something to show. Something meaningful and substantial. This is because we do realize you've been (im)patiently waiting for a very long time, and we wouldn't like anyone to feel that we're taking this for granted. On the contrary - it gives us a lot of extra motivation. The hype is real, so the sweat and tears need to be real, too :)
But, to the point. Today is the day. If you're seeing this, it means you saw the trailer - our vision of Cyberpunk, an alternative version of the future where America is in pieces, megacorporations control all aspects of civilized life, and gangs rule the rest. And, while this world is full of adrenaline, don't let the car chases and guns mislead you. Cyberpunk 2077 us a true single player, story-driven RPG. You'll be able to create your own character and... well, you'll get to know the rest from what we show at our booth at E3. Be on the lookout for the previews!

Before we finish, you probably have some questions, right?
When?
When we told you we would only release the game when it's ready, we meant it. We're definitely much closer to a release date than we were back then :), but it's still not the time to confirm anything, so patience is still required. Quality is the only thing that drives us - it's beauty of being an independent studio and your own publisher.
2. How big?
Seriously big, but..., to be honest, we have no bloody clue at this point in time. Once we put it all together, we will openly tell you what you can expect. And we promise we'll do this before we start taking any pre-orders or ask anything of you.
3. Free DLC/Expansions/DRM?
Expect nothing less than you got with The Witcher 3. As for DRM, CP2077 will be 100% DRM-free on PC.
4. Microtransactions?
In a single-player game? Are you nuts?
Goddamn i am
But just because i hope it will foreshadow the reinassance of the cyberpunk genre
its here son
movies, netlfix originals, games especially indie games
In what timeline do you live?
Everyone creamed themselves over witcher 3.
Is it gonna have romance? Please I'm lonely and need pixel loving
Don't forget the whole country of china lel
>that CCTV tech that catches jaywalkers
I forgot about them I want to visit now
too much sun
>inb4 muh cyberpunk isnt just rainy nights and neon lights p-pleb
seriously though where is the gameplay? i did not wait all this time just for another fucking trailer
the day will make you appreciate the night more
