One of you can spend your entire income on rent and the other can spend their entire income on living expenses like daycare or whatnot
I am sure you are a very good father, but assuming your children are quite young, the best thing you could really do for them is interaction with children their age desu
Daycares also provide a lot of other nice things that help children grow, such as introducing them to the school environment, maybe some level of teaching

It is pathetic. It may work in a slim minority of relationships but in general a male should have the obligation to play the provider role. A woman can work but a man should be the one pulling the majority of money in.
