Adam Lanza hated society, you're correct. But I believe his shooting was almost just an angry twitch for him. He was autistic as shit and autistic people go into huge rages for almost no reason. This is controlled by medication, but the medication can cause some shitty side effects.

Right before his shooting his mother was planning on selling their house, and he would be forced to live in the RV, before eventually moving to an entirely different home. I believe this was enough for Adam to go nuts, along with the "bloody" head injury he sustained just a few days before the attack.

Although I believe he had planned the shooting in advance, I don't really subscribe to the theory that it would have happened if he wasn't being moved. When someones future is thrown into flux like that, then they become more likely to act out. Compounded with his autism and degenerative state like the head injury and the severe anorexia, basically a perfect storm happened in December to make him go on his shooting.

I believe if he wasn't on autopilot, then he wouldn't have killed himself 5 minutes after the shooting began, I don't even think what happened really registered with him at the end, just an emotional reaction.
