Personally, I have coincidentally been watching several movies recently with female leads and I kinda like it, it feels really refreshing and I get to experience things in a different light. More stories from more people are always good.

But diversity in terms of things like "WERE GONNA MAKE AN OCEANS MOVIE BUT WITH GIRLS THIS TIME" is retarded. Give them their own stories, don't try and rewrite other ones. Compare the trailer for Oceans 8 to the new trailer for the movie Widows. Night and day in terms of quality, with almost the same core idea (female heist movie)
