My fucking job sliced my hours.
Gotta buy car tags for $76.00.

Bank account is at $1.00.

I only work 4 hours a week.
I love my job, and filled out a request for more hours, but come the fuck on. At least give me 8.

i work nights at a gas station, its super easy and comfy, worst i gotta do is tell people fuck off.

Four hours a week, man that's shit. You need to move on if you can

Trust me, if the schedule stays the same for the next two weeks, I quit. I can't live off $9.50/h for 4 hours in a week. I am still living with my siblings and help pay rent, but this isn't cool. So I completely understand with you on that part, and I hope things get better for me.

OP I work at a grocery store as a checker. I am generally a nice checker unless the customer pulls the manager BS.

Any stories?

Do tell

This user just popped here ITT only to post THIS again. Teehee~! :3.

I work as a cashier at a grocery store.

It's not stressful or too painful, but holy fuck is it soul crushingly boring

Hotel greeter here. Only part-time, but it pays my share of the rent and usually food.
My bank account is literally $0.29 right now. I don't get paid until next Thursday, and I'm pretty much panicking. Thought about getting a payday loan but don't wanna get caught in that. Haven't wanted to get a credit card because I feel like I'm not financially responsible enough for that, but it's looking like I'm gonna have to make myself responsible.
Do you guys like it when the customer tries to make conversation with you? I like to do it and usually get friendly responses and smiles back, but I'm never sure if it's genuine or if they're just doing it because they're paid to.

Handed in my notice yesterday. Feels good man. The place is seriously going down hill. Everyone is leaving and management just don't give a fuck.

I've got a job closer to home. Same money but I'll save time and money on the commute and im off the sinking ship.

Feels nice man

Work took away my saturday shift and gave it to someone completely new three weeks after I was given the shift. Three fucking years I've worked there, no loyalty.

Not that cashier user but some of us do like a good conversation. No grocers emphasize making small talk because they want to focus on moving people through the lines as fast as possible.

Used to be a retailcuck, now im a security guard relaxing all day. Feels good

Work part-time at the reception of a small hotel. It's only been 2 weeks but I like it more than expected. Hopefully they'll keep me despite my years of NEETdom killing my social skills. I try extra hard to compensate for it.

Well well well. What have we got here? A whole nest of little wagies.

Started a job at a Mcdonald's
pay is 11.25 / hour (minimum wage in my city)
hours are very good
Can't say I'm unhappy yet.

>tfw find more enjoyment in my dishbitch weekend job than trying to study for uni
I'm just designed to be a failure aren't I

Destined to be another cog like the rest of us.

the fact of the matter is you find any enjoyment at all in your job.

Work for me has always been part of that necessary time vacuum that you must trudge through a majority of the day to earn a few hours of "me" time when I get home.

Got a job at a gas station/deli (I work as a cashier at the deli part) work is fine and easy. Some of the customers are fucking dickholes though. "Ummm excuse me wagie but my son Tommy ordered this burger without tomatoes and I want a new one now or I'll call your fucking manager". I honestly think parents are the most rude and ungrateful customers I get. What is it about parenthood that makes usually normal people into douchebaggy tards?

Working 35 hours a week in a callcenter. Just the thought that once i fall asleep the next time i wake up again is only to go to work again stops me from falling asleep and makes me hope that, once i do so, i never wake up again. Doing that shit little over a year now and i see no end to it

I am hopefully soon evolving from part time wagecuck to 39/41 hour a week wagecuck. Plus I'll have a week on night shift every so often which gets me a week off work when I finish.

My title is "software engineer" but mostly I just make configuration changes to our software. Everything has tools behind it so it's just pushing buttons and listening to podcasts.

Pay is good, but I'm getting pretty bored, so I want to find something a little more challenging

You seem to feel comfy man. I am glad for you

i left my previous job because everybody gave me death stares, or was scared of me. now it's happening again. everybody chuckles and says i look dead. a manager smiled and asked, "why your face always look angry?"
