It unironically shakes me up when people say they're bad, I know someone who has had four strong ldrs (not saying their name out of respect for their privacy)

I know an LDR that worked. My sister was in LDR w/ German boyo for 9 years, and met up after 9 years and married. Been married for 4 years.

I don't know, but I love the "work" aspect of ldr, since you have to go out of your way to maintain it, unlike a irl relationship where theres no effort at all

My only actually relationship was an ldr. I don't know if I'd try another one, but idk how to get familiar or close to girls unless there's the online buffer at first. The girl I was with I had known for years and slowly gathered up the courage. It was nice feeling like I had someone I was going to spend my life with for a while though. Just sucked since we only saw each other 4 or 5 times a year.

I had one for a few weeks then one day they told me they only wanted to be friends. It was really really shitty, I was pretty cut up about it for ages.
I think I might be in one now, not sure but this one actually wants to meet up and isn't as lewd as the last one for now.
Relationship with people even online are really odd. I don't think they're harder than irl relationships because it's so easy for me to sit at my computer and talk a lot of shit when I haven't showered in days or brushed my teeth than actually making an effort with my appearance and going outdoors.

Main objective in life is to be comfy, relationship or nah. I'd rather be alone and comfy than with someone that isn't right for me.

It really never works. Robots I know it seems comfy to have a discord gf but just be friends instead, maybe ERP if you want but at the end of the day don't fall in love. It's pain, and nothing but pain. Occasionally you'll read a story about a successful one but for every one good story there's another 1000 bad ones never told out of embarrassment.

They can only work when you have a plan to meet up eventually, otherwise it's like having a ghost for a lover.
