Will I be mocked for having a Personal Trainer?

I don't know the first thing about fitness and cba to read. If I have a personal trainer will the other gym-goers mock me? Will they think I'm a poof or metrosexual?

What about guys who hire guys like rip?

How hard is it to pick weight up and then put them back down? Then add 5 lbs next week and repeat for 6 months. If that wasn't easy enough, then there are free youtube vids on virtually every exercise and program.

-t. Hunchback.
Get a personal trainer to start out, it's good to have someone to watch your form and help you correct it.

Yes.

You're not supposed to add 5lbs to your lifts every week wtf

WAKE UP AND SMELL THE FUCKING COFFEE

What gym you thinking of? There's a Nuffield Health closeby, so I might try that.

Most beginner programs do exactly that.

Why tho? Just trying to get in shape mate.

Easiest way to injure yourself

Let's take SS for example

AxBxAxx
BxAxBxx

Increase lifts by 5lbs every 2 weeks, that way you've done 3workouts at the same weight before moving up, it allows your body to adapt and recover

What the fuck are they putting in the water over there? How could you fucking look in the mirror if you were either of these two?

easy gym is my local one but there is independant man only one aswell not sure if thats the deep end for me though

Grow a pair. No one cares if you have a trainer, or if you’re a 300lb fatass. Don’t be an asshole, and don’t stink. That means wear deodorant or shower, and wear clean clothes.
No one will give a shit.

It really depends on which gym and which trainer you get. I recently started at a gym and you get a free session with a PT which is mandatory. Ive lifted before i just couldnt afford going to a gym for a while. This PT have a premade program for me and its 100% machines. I tell her im going to be using free weights and she straight up tells me that she has no experience with free weights at all... Also ive been watching gym fail vids on youtube and there are some cases of PTs instructing people to do dumb shit.
If you get a PT then make sure you dont get a brainlet who makes you do stupid shit that makes people laugh at you behind your back.

if you want a PT, get a PT, but prepare to do meaningless meme exercises that PTs use to show that they have some secret sauce that you can't find on the internet

Waste of money Tbh. Casual lifting is the most brain dead activity possible.

Don't worry about what other people think. If you think it's a good idea then go for it. Don't know why you would waste your money though when don't even have the motivation to spend a few minutes reading about basic training methods.

A few hours on youtube will teach you everything you need to know.
Outside of professional sports, PTs are for women and people who can't motivate themselves.

You really want to pay the big bucks to get mogged on the daily so your PT can buy more pre workout and slay hot babes? Personal trainers are for the women folk. You can figure it out man.

you will be mocked because you can't read
