Wrist straps help a lot for OHP and bench press? Are they worth getting if i have a home gym and don't have to worry about looking like a try hard?

Meh I'm an ultimate wristlet. Benching over 315 without them just plain hurts. Same with 225 ohp. Lets me worry about other things than my bird wrists exploding.

OK then next question. Whats a good brand or does it basically not matter like straps?

I bought the rogue ones. I got the longest ones and if you're using them for powerlifting and really don't need any mobility I would get the same.

If you're using them for oly lifts you may need the shorter ones. The longer they are the more times you can wrap them around and the stiffer your penis gets.

literally just bought straps and used them for first time yesterday. I'm a wristlet (6 inch wrists with 16 inch arms).
Since I started repping 1pl8 OHP, I've noticed my wrists really started suffering. From my experience yesterday, it really did alleviate a lot of the wrist stress from OHP and Bench.
Personally, I will be using them in my workouts from now on and might even use them for pullups/pulldowns and rows.

i do but im pretty sure its more of a problem with my proportions or leverage or something. i have big strong forearms even though i have small wrists but it just doesnt feel good. i also have big hands and maybe that has something to do with it. ive started benching with fatgrips on the bar and it feels way better

Tendons and muscles in your forearms and hands. You can definitely make your forearms bigger, but the wrist itself is just bone, ligament, and tendons. No muscle.

i started using them a couple of weeks ago because my wrist started to hurt for no fucking reason
some ligament is being a nigger and it hurts when i supinate my arm or when i hold a lot of weight
it's fine when i use wrist wraps so i don't care about looking like a retard

They don't do much for me on ohp but that said I don't ohp often (usually my overhead work is behind the neck strict press)

You can make your wrists and other joints a bit stronger but you can't make them bigger the same way you can make your bicep bigger by doing a curl.

So if they're stronger doesn't that help with support.

they help a lot if you aren't a manlet. i've noticed the dwarvenfolk don't need them to lift heavy because their tiny gremlin hands are made for tiny poles. us taller superior men need them

Got a pair for free when I ordered some protons. Hurt my left wrist somehow at home. Still felt pain at gym when I was warming up on bench so I put the wraps on. Felt no pain but they made my benching feel super awkward. Didn't notice any improvement in my strength, desu I felt a bit weaker. Haven't used the since.
