Every major corporation has had minority programs for at least a couple of decades now

Google and many other tech companies remembered that 50% of the population of female and that it would be quite profitable to turn these females into programmers. It reduces the wages and value of programmers thus making then more expendable.
They put on a facade of benevolent social justice, but really it's all about annihilating the immense bargaining power of skilled White/Asian male programmers.

Every company has had that shit because otherwise people screech and give them bad publicity. Recently though they have become proactive in sjw shit, they go out of their way to promote it. Back in the day they didn't promote shit and didn't really give a fuck about any of it, they only did something when people complained to them about stuff or things got too much attention, like for example in your pic, and even then they were strictly passive about it.

This is probably why, but they can also just import pajeets or chinks, there are more than a billion of them around. Men also make better programmers and google would know that better than anyone. It's a bit suspicious they put so much effort into this women agenda, me thinks there might be some feminists who recently made it into Google's upper echelons and are now pushing for it from above.

Les men are actually going to university each year. Some university intake almost 80% female. So companies have to encourage women to their sectors to get trained people in. Marketing to women using their gender is very effective with getting them to join. In other words, using their gender as prerequisite for the job role appeals to them directly even though it has nothing to do with what gender you actually are.

If you have a problem with this then you should go to university or encourage better education and encouragement for young boys in school who seem to be falling behind every year.

Long ago and because equality is a political weapon literally as powerful as nukes except with so few deaths and land damage that people don't need to be afraid to use it. Companies unironically fight over who's more equal (read: racist and sexist against whites and males) instead of who has the best tech. You might notice that the giants are more and more offering both every single product, and identical product to the competition.

there is no benefit to paying 60-100k for an education then finding out you're going to start working for like 12 dollars an hour when you could have just gone straight into a trade from high school, apprenticed for 20 dollars an hour and then get paid significantly more after a few years than all except the top 5% of college cucks.

That's not really an answer though. Memes aside, women aren't actually retarded. If going into a trade was more profitable in the long run women would also start doing it. There is a reason why men specifically are dropping out of education.

I think it has to do with the attitude of "schools treating boys like defective girls" basically to succeed in school you need to sit down, shut up, and do as your told for hours at a time instead of run around, explore, experiment, build, destroy, compete
Girls are more wired towards being passive and cooperative due to the evolutionary history of women staying home and weaving baskets or gathering berries with each other
They want boys, well everyone really, to be these submissive harmless good little worker bees

Now that's a good argument. I also think that's probably why, but it's interesting how back in the day education was considered to be for men mostly, and men took pride in being educated. These days most men look down on higher education and it seems like education is being seen as more of a woman or nerd/pansy/"not a real man" thing. I wonder what happened for public opinion to change that drastically
