It has a complex and rewarding flavor profile which is beyond the palate of your typical wageslave consumer.

i love this shit. i like to eat 3-4 pieces at once in a big pot and drink all the soup

Sounds interesting, I've only had the normal chicken ramen but I don't ever see any interesting flavors at the store.

What about Mr. Noodle Pho?

If you want to have too much sodium in your body and waste money , surely it is the food to go for.

Or you could just simply buy some pasta, some tomatoes, some spices and herbs together with oil and whatnot and get away cheaper after a few times.

>tomatoes
Fucking disgusting.
Also the point is you pay for the convenience of not having to go through all that work.

Listen buddy. I'm too depressed to cook. It;s just food that will disappear in a day. if I had to spend an hour cooking everyday I would just kill myself.

I don't have black in my super market, but I got three other types

Jesus even ramen companies are shilling here these days

Tomatoes are god tier, kill yourself immediately

>fruits or vegetables
>god tier
No you idiot, way to fall for USDA propaganda.
The only thing they're good for is propping up the subsidized agriculture economy.
Food pyramid is complete farming bullshit, healthiest cultures have always subsisted entirely or nearly entirely on meat.

>all this bullshit
They taste good and go with nearly everything. Who cares about farming or the USDA. Meat is the base of every good dish but it needs flavoring unless you eat steak every day, and tomato based products are very good for that purpose.

i thought shin black was very overrated. out of the meme ramyuns ive had i think pic related was the best

If you really need tomato-esque flavor you could just take actually good food and apply to ketchup to it.
Ketchup is the flavor optimized version of tomatoes.

The rater you got that picture from gave ramyun shin black the same 5/5 he gave that paldo kokomen spicy chicken pack.

I like it, I don't know of any better ramen pack but I'm lucky if I can get it for less than ~1.65 a pack. My local walmart as a section for them but everytime I'm there, it's sold out.

never knew that, i just googled it and saved the first image. shin black is okay but im not a fan of rich broths so that might be it. kko kko myun tasted a lot cleaner and less greasy and had a much nicer kick. to each his own though

Ketchup is syrup with red food coloring. Fuck ketchup. Use tomato sauce

>tfw have a whole case upstairs
h-how did you know user?

We all know that meal bro.

These are the best instant noodle. I've tried them all.

That's cheating since it comes with mustard.
If you put mustard on other noodles they'd taste really good too.

I just bought and finished a pack of these. What's the best cheap ramen? black was ok, but I'm not sure if it was worth the price

>go to tiny Mexican market one block from my house
>pick up the blue top ramen, squash, corn, spaghetti, pasta sauce, onions, tomatoes, potatoes, dry beans, and rice
>also pick up pic related
>grab a bunch of cheap soft drinks and juice, too
>stay alive even though I'm broke because everything's like $1.49
>walk back one block and hole up in my room

I think the spicy Nissin Demae is cheaper and the same sort of thing.

Of course, I am too depressed to cook myself, my mother cooks most of the time.

I cannot eat ramen anymore though without having the urge to really vomit.

Is that the best bang for your buck you think? I've been buying different ones. You got your 10 cent ones that have a single flavor packet, and then you got $2 per pack ones with these different flavors packets and dehydrated veggies. I Like to have a few of ramen in my pantry for when I'm having a long day and can't cook.

I'm sure you could find cheaper if you really wanted to.
I don't personally care that much and just go with shin ramyun black.

Ok thank you my brother

Shit I ate this all the time as a kid, my mom is Korean so we had a bunch of different kinds over the years. Pic related, my favorite of all time is Neoguri Spicy seafood, preferably with an egg and some green onion

>egg and some green onion
patrician taste man, those two are universal ramyun enhancers

Eating carbs. This is why people are fat.

When my mom makes this she'll boil mussels and throw a couple of them into the ramen. Gives it a much more meaty and full bodied flavor to it.

sounds great ive never tried mussels. i always like chopping up some onion with it and letting it soften in the broth and adding some kimchi and red pepper flake to give it more of a kick. i love how everyone has dif ways to preprare/spruce up ramyun

soba =/= ramen

fucking claps

Only had spicy, chicken and sesame. Favourite is definitely sesame. I don't think the black one is sold here (bongland)To the robots freaking out about msg, I just add about a third of the seasoning packet and put a spoonful of peanut butter in it. If you want creamy mcdreamy add some cream cheese.

There's literally nothing wrong with MSG.

Well whatever. I don't really care about that shite either since I drink like a fish and smoke like a lung, but I'm sure some people do. Personally I just find the seasonings taste a bit too salty.
