Vaporwave was came out 6 years ago. All the best aesthetic wave music came out 4 years ago. The internet has accelerated the death cycle of everything. These genre's are already full of pretentious ass hats trying to make deep analysis about capitalist systems or whatever the fuck.
Even so, vaporwave was just a rehash of 80's music slowed down. All wave music was just 3-4 notes repeated over and over again with different effects. Fashwave was objectivly the best wave yet its not made very much. The next best, Synthwave is also mostly trash these days. Every pretentious fuck face wants to be part of the kool kid klub but they don't understand its basic concepts. There's nothing but crude imitations of the old greats from 4-6 years ago. Dubstep has been dead since 2012 as well.
