How do you make songs? Any guide for very beginners?

I use FL Studio. There are hundreds of tutuorials on how to use the software. My personal tip is to produce a little bit often, or you will forget how it works. Don't be afraid of the technoblabber and the physics, in the end none of that matters as the program becomes intuitive and merely an extension of your humming voice and your sense of music. I learned to compose without knowledge of music theory because aspergers, so I do not know a good source for learning it. There can be good music theory classes on youtube, maybe. Sorry I couldn't help much there.

Working on heroic fantasy tale. It's one book but structure wise it's divided into three parts. It's about a farmer about to take his life, employing a hunter to rescue his daughter from a spirit...still working on that bit. My vigilante yarn is up in the air, and I also have plans for an Urban Fantasy involving Crack cocaine and vampires.

Feels bad man. I started editing my last completed one a few weeks ago but I got frustrated and stopped. At least it seems like I've grown a lot since then. Maybe because I've been reading through the classical canon... I feel like I'm much better than the average writer who gets genrelit published, but reaching the level of the masters is unattainable. I just want it to get published and become popular so I can be rich enough to quit my job, and then I could write fulltime without worrying about disappearing into it.

Thank you user. I had a poster encourage me last time, too. My current hang-up is this one character is too cartoonish for my tastes, I need to rethink all this parts and flesh him out. Every other character is great, but I just didn't understand him well enough. I'll make another go of it...I guess at worst I skip his parts (he dies a quarter into it) and come back later. You're right. I want to try again. It's just like looking up at a giant wall and being told to scale it. I'm really sorry to be so whiny. That's the same reason I stopped working on the next one that's half complete, I didn't understand my main character well enough.
I've been reading a lot of great literature lately, so I have all this beauty swirling inside my mind. Maybe it will help. I need insights to the soul of human beings vastly different from myself to complete these, that comes either from life experience or literature.
