I'm sure if I was lifting weights I would have lost more weight..
I've done it for a couple weeks now. The only difference I've felt is that I'm way better at managing my hunger. Before I couldn't concentrate if I was hungry. Now it doesn't bother me as much.
Haven't really noticed any weight changes but I was already skipping breakfast to begin with so I don't think my case is a good example.
Is this a troll or does some retard think 45lbs a year is impressive? My last cut was 30lbs in 3 months.

To answer your question, if your goal is to find a way to manage a healthy nutrition plan, IMF is a tool you can use to reach that goal.
I was a former fatty that had issues with small meals because I was never satisfied at any point of the day. With IMF, I was able to finally feel full twice a day and still eat healthy.
Try it out for 8 weeks. If it doesn't work, find out another way to make yourself eat the way that you should be.

Just saw a podcast today with georges st pierre who said he does intermittent fasting now, feels stronger, is leaner, controls hunger more. I've never done it and he obviously has a bomb nutritionist and training regimen but still, my 2 cents.

Weight 250 two years ago. Currently 210. Always lifted 3 times a week. Hitting full body. All I did was stop eating breakfast. The fat will fall off at your feet while you walk. Just don't be a dumbass and eat a massive lunch and dinner.
I lost 21 pounds in one month doing IF, mind you some of that was water weight because I cut creatine. I was also 185 when I started.
I would suggest actually cutting more than a few hundred calories a day, m8
IMF works but maybe not for the stupid reasons in that graphic. All that stuff about chemical levels and insulin and inflammation is just buzzwords and bullshit. The only thing that matters at the end of the day, to any degree worth caring about, is your intake.
So why does it work? It works because the noon to six on that chart there is the same as saying "I'm going to skip breakfast and not snack in the evenings". That's it. You eat less because you have a firm rule that cuts down the calories.
After doing it for a while, you get used to the routine instead of being moderately hungry all day every day. Your hunger gets brought into check, and the diet reinforces itself.
