i'm lightly having some of my good old black velvet whiskey after a long period of liter-a-day addiction. a very long list of fucked up life events as well as a building amount of psychosis drove me to get some. i can almost forget about things sometimes between booze, benzos, and opiates. unfortunately i cant spend all of my time doing this, i have way too much shit to take care of to keep everything from falling to shreds

Found a wine skin similar to pic related earlier today, it was a gift from my mom when I was in 5th grade. It brought back a lot of thoughts of how autistic i was.

I filled it with Spanish red wine and getting smashed off it. Feeling good.

man, i can't get drunk off wine. it's just too rich and even a whole bottle just gets me a bit tipsy and i can still function. i used to drink very heavily so i was calorie-conscious as well as cost efficient. malt liquor was the cheapest but posed similar issues, but less severe in my opinion. plain vodka at bottom shelf, not a fan. gin... okay. whiskey was really the only place it was at. to deal with the extra sugars in it, my diet excluded carbs and sugar, and i took a lot of vitamins. wine is okay at like a glass, but it isn't as enjoyable an experience for me as would be sipping a glass of similarly priced whiskey which is at the same alcohol serving size. i always drank straight from the bottle, though, unless friends were breaking it out. a couple of my buddies always have expensive stuff, and it was a good treat but i concluded it to be highly cost inefficient. it was only marginally better than a bottle of scotch or bourbon sitting on the bottom shelf. i think the main reason i enjoy liquor so much more is the pure, visceral feeling it gives. it's like there is pure flame coursing in your chest.
