I have been doing Omad for so long the concept of three or even 2 meals a day feels alien to me
I feel like shit when I pic out and eat a lot
So I make my one meal small
Not smelly though so that is good

if you're just dieting and not exercising you'll have to wait for your body to deplete it's sugar reserves and drop the water weight, carbs are what retain the water

if you stick with omad and weigh yourself every week like every saturday, you'll probably see immediate results but again it'll probably just be water weight

once your body's out of sugar to burn it'll begin burning fat

you'll want to stick to your recommended daily sugar intake, any in excess will spike insulin which helps your body PUT ON weight

I don't get it. I need to eat 8.000 calories a day in order to maintain my weight with the level of activity I have on a daily basis. Does that mean that if I eat OMAD of 8000 calories I will mantain weight despite exercising till way past the afternoon with nothing to eat?

8000 cal/day seems to be a bit off, unless you train 8h + 2h hiit and are 8feet + 400pounds.
Regardless, while CICO worked for me, I feel that I need more food to keep the same weight while doing IF - only did OMAD while resting/not training.

I run,swim and lift all throughout the morning (from 6 to 11:30) and in the evening I box and do BJJ. I've calculated and Indeed I need 8.000 calories a day to maintain. I'm 6'0.
If I somehow managed to eat that in one sitting, could I see the benefits? I'd do it to let my body rest and for better digestion since I always nap after lunch.
Is it worth considering? Or will I lose weight which I dont want to.

I disagree , I sip a 1500 cal protein shake , I wait 15 minutes and eat a chicken salad of another 1500 cal , then soup with sourdough and then some dessert and it goes around 5000 calories. I'm not saying it's easy but adding nuts and high calorie low volume stuff could help me get trough 3.000 more. Im just asking if it's worth it that's all

1 hour of weight lifting should be around 500cal
1 hour of cardio/endurance training 500-1000cal
Your BMR should be around 1500-1750
I don't think you'll need 8k/day, if you gain a lot of fat, try something more reasonable like 5k.
Anyway, 1500/2000cal shakes (whole milk, PB, honey, coconut oil, oats, nuts, ice/heavy cream and anything else you want to add) are rather easy to chug.
A gallon of whole milk is around 2500cal; drink is instead of water.

Eat it all in a 9-10 hour window instead. Trying to eat 8k all at once will destroy your pancreas. OMAD is a meme for fat asses that are eating less than 2k calories a day and don't do anything else to take care of themselves.

10 hours "fast" is ridiculous, if you want to really be fasting and getting the benefits I recommend 5 hours of eating maximum. Also I don't believe that fucking pancreas meme, I've seen hours of scientific back up videos about fasting and I have never heard such thing.
