PIG - Passive Income General

>PIG - Passive Income General
Good Morning Robots

Let's talk PI:
What have you done to create some PI today?
What are some of your sources of PI?
What will you do once you escape wage slavery?

YOU CAN DO IT!

Attached: pi.jpg (428x450, 33K)

I bought a C# course today and my plan is to make niche games.
I'll use Patreon for my erotic games, and I'll sell my strategy game on Steam or something.
I've technically already escaped wage slavery by collecting neetbux, but it's a very frugal life and I'll probably go back to it when I need money to commission art assets.
The journey begins!

Really wouldn't even know where to begin.

That's why I start these threads to help robots share knowledge. But I think the bigger question is motivation, especially for some of us here. You can't expect the setting up of PI to be effortless, it's really work. If you're prepared to learn and put effort into it, you'll see the results

Like this guy here, it's a great idea to make a niche game!

I'm 20 and living like an absolute jew and putting almost all my savings into btc (leaving a 15k buffer in cash/stocks). I know it's very risky and so on but I don't mind taking the chance and if it goes wrong I'll wagie conventionally

Work is not something I have an aversion to. Especially with nothing but free time I spend the bulk of it doing as much yard/house work as possible. Just don't know where to channel the energy to generate real income alone.

It's good that you're putting money away! Crypto has always scared me, though, so I stay away, seems like a scam.

How much do you have in crypto right now?

Well, if you like doing yard work, why not start a business around that? A friend of mine has a mowing business and makes out really well. He has about 100 clients and charges about 100 a month for them. He has expenses out of that, sure, but still it's good money. And he takes the winter off.

about 25k fat. I'm only doing it because I'm young and can afford to take risks.

>Crypto has always scared me
It worries me, but what worries me more is if bitcoin goes to 1 mil or something stupid and I miss out. I know this probably isn;t a good way to invest but I'm prefectly fine with losing 50k instead but not with missing out on a few million

There is no such thing as "passive income" That is a myth. Otherwise, everyone would be doing it instead of working. & if it really worked, they would make it illegal so it wouldn't crash the economy.

making games is the easy part. now come the part where you have to market that game, monetize it, *& market it some more to convince people it's actually worth paying for compared to the thousands of similar games you'll be competing with. There's no such thing as overnight success. All things successfully sold are first shilled to some degree. You just have to know your taget audience, & the right pace to shill. too fast, & people will think it's a scam. Too slow, & people will think there is nothing special about your game, & will not op on due to the bandwagon effect. You have to maintain it as well. You can never just write code & expect money to flow.

I think I'm getting confirmation on a job today. It's a shitty job, but I don't have a choice going forward, as neetdom isn't a choice.
I'm going to keep most of the money, living with parents, but i'm not sure how to transform it into passive income. It won't be a lot of money, but if I keep it around I'll be able to invest it when I get the chance.

I live in a long island suburb and big, organized landscaping companies are a dine a dozen here. Plus, if I were able to interact with people and sort of thing, I would not be in the quagmire I'm in.

>There is no such thing as "passive income" That is a myth
Sure there is. I've been doing some dividends and it's as passive as you get. It just gets deposited into my account and I don't even notice. Same thing with my rental property. I put them under a management company, they take care of everything. The cash just keeps coming in.

The easiest way is just an index fund. It's more geared toward growth than passive income, but that's what you want at first. The only thing to make sure is that you get the one with the lowest fees.

Well, it never hurts to print out some flyers and hand them out. Even if it only gets you a hundred a month or so, that's better than nothing

I have a time deposit. Tha's pretty much it.

Well done, every little bit helps!

I go on sites like seeking arrangement, and pretend to be a cute girl. I buy photos from cam girls and use those. Then when a guy asks me to "prove im real" I have the cam girl write his name on her hand and send me a pic, then i ask for money for a plane ticket to see him or whatever

I make about $1000 a week like this

is this passive income?

I've been slaving away for nearly two years. Living with mummy and daddy has allowed me to save up about 10k so far, not including retirement money and an emergency fund.

I feel like I ought to be using this shit for something. But whenever I read about "passive" income sources, they always seem scummy and not really passive. Like flipping houses, or becoming a landlord, or making a dropshipping site, MLM bullshit, or hawking merch.

Nope, it's not. I'm not sure why you even need to ask. Passive income is just that, "passive". You spend time creating profiles, chatting up guys, etc for the income. And if you don't put time into it, I'd imagine your income would quickly go to zero.

Don't get me wrong, you've created a job for yourself, which is great. But if you want PI, my suggestion is to save that cash and invest it.

Yes, you're right. Most of the things you've mentioned aren't passive income sources and are designed to sell you courses. But I'd vouch for landlording. 10k is probably not enough to start anything, though. Whatever you do, don't leave it in the bank, though.

but i don't have to go outside or talk to anyone

I'm a work-at-home dev and I don't have to do any of that either. But that's completely irrelevant and I'd never claim my job is passive income.

It's all about how much your income is dependent upon your TIME.

no, this is active income as if you stop doing what you are doing then you will recive no more money

my youtube chaannel currently generates me $400-1000 a month whether or not I upload to it, does that count?

This is an interesting question. This comes up often and just my opinion about this type of income goes like this. If you didn't do anything with the channel or spent any time promoting it for a long time say one to two years how much would your income drop by? This can be a measure of how passive something is.

well i don't promote it at all, it would probably drop by 50% or so, most of that income comes from six or seven videos which have a disproportionetly high viewcount compared to the rest of my videos and are responsible for 50-70% of my monthly views.

how much views are subs do you have? i wanna do it for fun but I also want money.

I'd say that's not bad especially for small YouTube channel. So you at this point could count about 50% of your income as passive. But because most of your views come from just a small number of videos, I would adjust that down a bit maybe say 40%. Still that's great!

i get anywhere from a few hundred thousand to just over a million views a month, i have about 7000 subs but that's growing constantly. I mostly do it for fun but by the end of the year i'm hoping to be able to move out of mommie's house with the income.

what type of videos are they? I want to start but Ive never been able to due to my pc being abit shit

I do DIY videos in the vein of peter siripol and william osman
