Holy fucking shit you morons will say everything is bad. Yesterday is was fat, today are carbs what the fuck is it next?

To answer your question, no they are not but make sure it comes from quality sources and not refined ones.

What does that even mean

What is a fucking quality source of Carbs

No, good carbs are the fuel source of your body. Eat as many as your daily energy expenditure requires. If you want to get big eat even more. They're fucking great.

NO

As long as you eat oats, rice, granola and fruits, it'll be fine and healthy. Processed sugar and shit like that are bad for you.

Eat some apples nigga

What about bread?

I just noticed I literally eat bread at least 3 times a day, at least 4 slices..

Refined / bad ones: Literally refined sugar, processed wheat (i.e. whitebread, pasta and stuff like that)

Quality / good ones: Non-refined shit. Whole wheat pasta, whole grain stuff, sweet potatoes / yams, rice, oats. Just don't eat stuff that is reduced and processed to its bare minimum

This man knows

A lot of people say that you don't really know what they put inside of bread that you buy, especially that pre-packed stuff from the super market. Could be hard to really estimate precise calories if you are into that.
Additionally, sometimes it says that it is whole wheat / has dark color, but they actually add some syrup or sth to make it look dark

If you don't live in a smaller village / have some traditional baker who does everything by itself I'd just suggest you just bake bread yourself with some whole grains and seeds yourself. It's pretty easy senpai

Disgusting

I feel like fucking shit after eating a lot of carbs, even if they are of the "good" ones(lentils, peas, potatoes, etc) If I eat a lot of them at 2PM I will feel lightheaded and heavy until 7PM. But if I eat meat and vegetables I feel good. Fuck vegans, we are not made to feel like fucking shit all day long in a heavy carb diet.

Only dyels and I mean literally only DYELS are afraid of carbs.

t. eating all sorts of pasta/bread with borderline low fasting blood glucose

Thanks

I have another question for everyone as well, I'm trying to bulk but it seems impossible without carbs, I guess I should stick to good carbs like brown rice, oats and wheat pasta?

>good ones
stop being a brainlet and think for a second about the starches and fibers you are eating, some of them are hard to process and that's why you feel like shit.

If you eat low fat ice cream, do you feel like shit? No, because it doesn't have fiber clogging your fucking guts.

This "good carbs" "bad carbs" shit is ridiculous, we literally domesticated plants in order to REDUCE their fiber content.

Yes. White rice, potatoes are good aswell. You can also use some oats and fruits if you want. I dont know if you have it where you live, but here in Brazil we have tapioca, that is basically a manioc's powder, really good macros. As other user said, try eating things that come from the ground and are less processed as possible.

I did read a bit about bulking on Keto, but it seems really hard / expensive unless you want to survive off of bacon, peanut butter, eggs and heavy cream.

You should include carbs in your diet. Just experiment what feels best for you / what you can digest easiert. But be aware that plain potatoes are much less calorie-dense than e.g. rice (i.e. you would need more potatoes to get the same amount of calories; could be difficult regarding the volume of your stomach)

Quick weight-gainer recipe:
Oats, whole milk, cinnamon, vanilla/chocolate whey, peanut butter, some fruits

But you need at least a bit of fiber in your diet bro

You already get more than enough fiber from eating white bread.
It's virtually impossible to be "low on fiber" if you eat any plant foods that aren't oil based.

You make sick user.

>yesterday
You mean two decades ago. Keep up, grandpa.

How carbs can we bad for you when you need them to grow up? Tf is wrong with this forum.

I eat 1 lb of pure white rice and 1 packet of buns and it works for me.

Motherfucker

>you need at least a bit of fiber in your diet bro
Why do vegans spread lies like this? Hehehe

gourmet pizzas

i feel like shit whenever i eat sugar and get nasty shits
this also happens if i eat too many carbs
unironically feel the best on keto

I would stick to 1 or 2 servings a day as part of a varied diet. Just don't eat it every time you eat, you know?

Avoiding carbs has been an excellent decision on my part. Now, I'm eating much more protein, since essentially all my satiation has to come from fats and meats. I also feel way less bloated, and I feel much more energetic during my days. I don't think carbs are inherently bad-- I still have some carbs in my day, (unavoidable sugars in some foods, a little serving of beans, etc.), I just stay away from having any major carb sources in my foods. So, I don't eat breads, pastas, rice, or wheat products.

Overall, I'm eating lots of meats, salmon, fresh fibrous vegetables, oils, nuts and seeds. I probably get under 10grams of (non-fiber) carbs a day. I've lost weight, gained strength, and gained confidence in my dietary habits. I also never feel bloated any more.

If you're the kind of person that uses carbs to satiate your hunger, and are looking to use fat sources to improve your diet and perhaps lose some weight, I would recommend at least trying to avoid carbs like I have. Give it a week, see how it feels for you.
