I'm an university student with a pretty decent knowledge on a lot of topics. Ask me random retarded shit that you wouldn't want to ask elsewhere and I'll answer. Bonus points if you make me feel like a brainlet
Retarded questions thread
how do i ghost a girl who knows my phone number?
Do you know her irl or does she just have your phone number
Is it possible to change your phone number?
if so, how?
If you're not under contract, go to your provider and buy a new sim card. If you're under contract, you can ask if they can switch transfer the contract to a new number. Should be doable, depending on your provider
If free will exist, why do we sometimes unconsciously(auto-pilot) do something, i.e driving, drinking, eating, browsing Jow Forums?
I'm a determinist, so I don't exactly believe in "free will"
Anyways to answer your question, your subconsciousness and all the automatic shit that you do are still aspects of your consciousness overall. The fact that you don't pay attention while doing them doesn't mean that /you/ aren't doing them, just like you can automatically walk or breathe or blink etc you can automatically do other things. You're still the one performing the actions, it's just relegated to a lower subroutine in your brain because you've done it a billion times and your thoughts are preoccupied with something else
You reaaaaaaaaaalllyyyh fucked up giving your number out so loosely like its nothing. Whenever a girl would want me to text them I would always try to use an app. And if they were really pushy about a number id use a fake number on a phone app
1. You're replying to the wrong guy
2. Just block her number, why is it such a big deal to you?
>I'm a determinist, so I don't exactly believe in "free will"

>consciousness
if u do something unconsciously its inherently not part of your consciousness
see phi phenomenon for if u really want to get spooked
or presenting two stimuli at the same time, but ur only consciously aware of 1 at a time
or split brain persons, where its like theres 2 people in one brain
How can one apply the formula for calculating the reach of a geostationary satelite in the earth orbit to reach an antenna in africa on chemistry.
There is an answer to that question
which proteins formed by tumour supressor genes are most vitaI in supressing maIignant tumour growth via oncogenes in the boweI as opposed to other parts of the body?
Why is
0.99999999999 = 1
as well as
0.99999999999 =/= 1
true?
How do you estimate the phases of a diffraction pattern in X-ray crystallography?
>0.99999999999 = 1
not true
0.999... repeating =1
Why are chicks yellow but chickens are white and red?
Not OP but was going to say p53 until
>in the boweI as opposed to other parts of the body
So I don't know
Not OP but you forgot the question mark you absolute degenerate
that's because 0.999... != 0.999
>brainlet detected
I believe in determinism in a strictly scientific sense, not some religious bs. The universe had set starting conditions and set rules that matter and energy follow, therefore anything that has happened and will happen can be predicted using those rules (in a strictly technical sense, of course we don't have the capacity to calculate anything on that unimaginably massive of a scale, and never will), we're just clumps of matter and physical processes, therefore determinism and no free will. This doesn't matter at all in practice because you still perceive yourself as a conscious being with "free will"
And about consciousness and unconsciousness, of course that shit is part of you. Do you think it would be feasible to live if you paid attention to every sitmulus that your brain detects at all times? You shut out sounds and light coming through your eyelids when you're falling asleep, how else could you sleep. How could you focus on anything if you were consciously focused on every sound that you can faintly hear, your clothes touching your skin, the air flow etc. A very basic example of this would be chronic vs acute pain. Say your leg hurts from a cramp. Slap yourself or stab yourself with a needle. Momentarily, you'll stop feeling the leg pain because your brain will be focused on the acute pain from the slap/stab. You still get stimuli from both, your brain just filters the chronic pain because at that moment, it's lower priority than the possible danger that the acute pain represents
What is the definition of Psychopathy in your own words? Are Psychopathy and Sociopathy the same thing to you?
Are you talking about beta catenins?
>0.999... repeating =1
It's not true. That's asymptotic or w.e. English isn't my first language but that number will get infinitely close to 1 but it will never be 1
That's habitual
Are traps gay? If yes, why does my peepee get hard when I look at them if I'm straight?
Idk the exact details but birds, including chickens, get a completely different set of feathers in adulthood (child feathers are for keeping them warm, adult feathers for flight). Why are they a different color? Well idk if that has any actual evolutionary reason my guess is it doesn't, it's just a random genetic fluke like eye color in humans or the color of literally anything else (barring species that use camouflage)
Sexual attraction is a spectrum, if you're attracted to them because of their feminine looks AND their penis, while also being attracted to girls, then you're bi
I know there's a difference but I dont remember what it is. Both are characterized by a lack of empathy but one was thought to be from birth and the other was learned in childhood (sociopathy I think)
300iq plays
But, are traps gay or not?
Does a sitting United States president have the constitutional authority to pardon himself?
Answer me u cuck is it beta catenins
Shit son I don't know. I know what x-ray crystallography is used for and I know that it records the intensities and not phases, but I don't know any of the methods. I don't wanna cheat with Google
I don't know, genuinely curious to hear the answer
If STEM, please explain Hilbert spaces and Hilbert curves to me.
Otherwise, give me some sad/melancholic music. No rap, pls.
Unless it's happened historically, I doubt there's a specific law prohibiting him from technically doing it but if he tried to in practice, I imagine it would get disputed using other loopholes and technicalities
That's like holding up a green flag and asking "is this blue or is this yellow"
I haven't taken anything above highschool level maths so idk. I don't listen to sad music, closest thing I can give you is tides from nebula - earthshine, it's a pretty chill post rock album with no vocals
Bumping for more questions or discussions with the people whose questions I've answered
>post-rock
I'll definitely check it out. Thanks!
Attempting to bump one last time
The secret to many questions on this planet lies in the connectivity of different sciences. Many fields have solved problems, which can be applied not only in biology, but in physics or chemistry too. This is just as with satelite communication, a good friend of mine studied electrical engineering and theoretical physics. he showed me the secret of getting absolute scientific domination. Like in chemistry or phisics they didn't had a formula for such a simple problem, which the they already solved in satelite communication. If a super computer will be able to fill these knowledge gaps, we will have an explosion of knowledge
Does the protein in bread not count or something? Apparently there's 4.8 grams of protein in a slice of ASDA value bread which seems like a lot
5 grams in a slice? Absolutely no way. In 100 grams or whatever of whole wheat bread, maybe. Also, protein from every source counts (although they have different bioavailability, as in, some gets absorbed better, animal protein usually gets absorbed better than plant protein).
That's the biggest non-answer I've ever seen
