I fasted for 48 hours a week ago. I pissed on a keto stick and it was the darkest color. I felt like shit, and my muscles looked all flat and depleted. Once I started eating, I tried to stick to a keto diet, but I couldn't. I became an animal. Binge eating carbs. You can use fasting to get into ketosis quick, but be careful when you decide to begin eating.

It's constant flow of energy throughout the day. No highs or lows. Just consistent. You can do your intermittent fasting longer and longer every day if you want to cut.

Worst part is the social aspect. I don't like breaking my ketosis because I still need to lose another 15lb. But it would be hard to navigate through the social waters of taking a girl out on a date and her wanting to go get frozen yogurt or ice cream.

steak always looks like shit

how do people eat meat so gross

I disagree.

If you keto stick is the darkest color then something was wrong. You shouldn't have that level of concentrated ketones in your piss. You need to be drinking more liquids to flush the excess ketones.

Kys weakling

This is false. Kys too.

Moron.

>High levels of ketones can poison the body. When levels get too high, you can develop DKA. DKA may happen to anyone with diabetes, though it is rare in people with type 2.

>Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) is a serious condition that can lead to diabetic coma (passing out for a long time) or even death.

If you aren't flushing ketones with lots of water you're an idiot.

Yeah you're such a strong and manly man for being able to buy and eat a piece of meat. Grr

Your brain starts making thoughts differently after you get over the couple-day panic “I’m gonna starve” feeling

Both wrong.

You should not have too much ketone-bodies in your urine, that is true, but that is because your body should utilize them as energy source.

Ketones itself, are not bad, the excess means that your body fails utilize them

Deep ketosis is where you have to start force feeding yourself. You are no longer hungry. After eating you feel full but not adversely affected. No bloat, no sugar spike with upcoming crash. Your body continues to shrink. You will go through periods where weight loss stalls but then you all of a sudden are ten pounds lighter. Pay attention to the way your clothes fit and how quickly its changing.

keto+OMAD+TDEE-1000 or 3 days of prolonged fasting and you'll know. your breath has this sour fruity taste to it (acetone), you'll feel thirsty and you won't have a lot of power in your muscles but you still oddly have a lot of energy. it's like feeling hyperactive when you're tired, really weird. the power in your muscles returns after you actually get your blood running since you can't store ketones in your muscles, only in your liver and blood. also never actually hungry but i get subconscious cravings.

is there any point in doing ketosis if you're trying to bulk and grow muscle as a new? I'm interested in the concept but it feels like I should save it whenever I do my first cut and fast

>Ketones itself, are not bad

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ketoacidosis
>In ketoacidosis, the body fails to adequately regulate ketone production causing such a severe accumulation of keto acids that the pH of the blood is substantially decreased. In extreme cases ketoacidosis can be fatal.[3]

post body

>bulking on keto
just don't do keto as a noob. some people swear by cycling carbs but for a beginner, it's not the most effective way to do it. if you're skinnyfat start by finding a program that works best for you and eat a carb-centric diet so you can perform in the gym and recover quickly, that's the fastest way you're gonna put on mass and it's not very restrictive (so as long as you're hitting micros and macros), so you won't develop some retarded eating disorder right of the gate. unless you're actually obese, i wouldn't start off on keto even for a cut. most noobs need to learn basics like portion control and keeping steady energy first, then start doing more advanced techniques you know you can handle.

also keto tends to add more fats and proteins into your diet so if first it's hard to eat in sufficient surplus to start building appreciable muscle, but also if you do reach a surplus your triglycerides are going to shoot up and defeats the whole purpose of keto.

I actually built muscles while in Keto, nothing special but with the weight loss + some lifting exercise and swimming the results are pretty good

It's clearly a burger, not a steak. Moron.

I've fasted for a week straight after being on a diet of eggs, hamburger, and avacado..... My keto sticks never changed color. At all.

Keto sticks don't last very long. They stop working after about a month of opening the bottle. Just fyi if you're using old sticks or something.

Anything else in your diet like artificial sweeteners or beverages besides water, tea, or black coffee? People don't realize there are hidden sugars everywhere today.

Artificial sweetners don't increase your blood sugar

you just proved his point, but you're such a brainlet you don't even understand what you posted

Yeah they definitely do. Some more than others. Aspartame and Sucralose also kill gut bacteria. Erythritol is really the only artificial sweetener that has 0 glycemic index. Might as well just use stevia since it's also 0 and it's natural.

found the retard

Oh boy

Explain how this graph doesn't prove my point

This is misleading because the quantity of artificial sweetner used is negligeable compared to how much normal sugar would be needed. The glycemic index can't be used in this context because of how different the quantities are.

Fuck I crave kotleta now

short answer:
sucralose: mixed data
aspartame: probably no
saccharin: mixed data
acesulfame potasstium (-K): probably yes

That says that sucralose behaves just like saline and does not increase insulin.

Selfmade graph? What you are showing are sugars and alcohols.
