Every single jacked person before the age where drugs became the norm used a fuckton of volume, the people that did not do a lot of volume were small.
People on drugs get away with training less but at teh same time are able to recover from more work, so it basically eliminates training as an important variable for muscle growth and thus makes people believe they can get away with doing 5 sets a week per muscle group and progress as a natty past the beginner stage.

You can make prs every workout while having enough volume to look good
*Don't go too heavy on foot weighted dead hangs. Find a comfortable weight like 20lbs you can pinch with your feet. You don't want to pull your spine too hard, just enough to undo what you just did with deadlift and squats
Because elite level bodybuilders can not create enough disruption in a fullbody workout in paired muscle groups. this is the reason elite bodybuilders do splits

I've actually been experimenting with higher rep deadlift sessions for a couple of weeks and already feel like I'm getting results. hit 450 for 10 on sunday and I'm aiming to get a 20 rep set with 405 soon

Yes, yes, debatable. I do full body twice a week to give everything enough time to recover. I mostly do calisthenics though, but I have a decent weighted pull up and dip. But it shows that I don't do everything at the gym, I'm low BF with decent muscle but I could be much bigger than I am

depends how much your clean to press ratio. my max clean is 132.5kg, my max press for 7 reps would be around 55-60kg, cleaning that kind of weight isnt exactly tiring
