Wow, congrats. Invest it, don't blow through it
what'd you bet it on m8?
I withdrew 3k to my bank account. Gonna invest 1k and keep gambling with the rest.

video slots and blackjack
You did the right thing. When you have so little money you can't use it productively, the right move is to gamble it because there's a non-0 chance of success like you've encountered. The net loss of wasting the money with no win vs not putting it in a casino at all is virtually 0, so it's objectively the right thing to do.
remember to have limits. I'm no gambler but you will always, always, always end up losing all you money if you keep gambling.
Wouldn't do that though. Invest 2k and keep 3k if you want. Don't gamble anymore until you've lost everything in your investment but $10.
Correct. The optimal strategy is limit reverse martingale.
Its already in my bank account. If I lose the 1k I still have on the site I'm gonna stop gambling.
If you do it once, sure. But then you do it again and again and again and the money you waste on gambling is a huge amount that would be way more than you could ever hope to win. Why do you think so many poorfags gamble? It's a desperation move that's just digging them deeper in
Investing is a high likelihood low return version of gambling and a useful skill. The more money you have to invest the more likely you are to learn good investment strategies before running out of money. It's infinitely more valuable than gambling. You can even use the profits from investing to gamble if you're already addicted.
If you do it again and again then the money you are investing is not an amount of money that cannot be put to productive use, thus breaking the whole premise, thus your claim is meaningless.
Yeah but you know how easy it is to fall into the "live for today" mentality. "Oh I only have $10 /again/ might as well gamble them again" instead of seeing the big picture and gradually saving up for the future
with 5k you could buy a car, a motorcycle, rent for a few months....save it bro
It depends on the period. If you only have $10 at the end of any one year it makes no sense to try to invest it. Even if you have $10 at the end of every week it's a bit sketchy ($520 per year isn't even enough to eat on).

Gonna use it to make my driver licence and buy a cheap car so I stop browsing Jow Forums all day.
