Makes my tummy hurt every time I do it. Do not recommend.
So in legal states can you just walk into a store and buy it? Don't know any dealers and not trying dark web. Smoked it a couple times with a friend and liked it.
Smoking is a dirty and rather crude RoA for cannabis. It's getting to be more and more of an anachronism now that the vaporizer market is so well-developed. There are also cannabis soft drinks, cakes, etc. available at a lot of stores.
The effects of edibles isn't exactly the same as smoking (edibles take much longer to kick in, and last longer generally speaking), but it's similar. Vaping is very similar to smoking as far as effects go, except "cleaner". You don't get so much of the dizzy, heavy headed effects as you get from inhaling the smoke.
Yeah, in a lot of legal states you can buy pot at stores (you have to be 21 though).
Massachusetts legalized over a year ago, but the first stores are expected to open later this year.
Also, there are a lot of shitty vaporizers out there, and a LOT of shills all over the internet.
Personally, I think the Vapor Genie is a good entry-level vaporizer because there's no plastic (except the mouthpiece, which is completely optional), and very few mechanical parts, so there's almost nothing to go wrong with it as long as you don't damage the silicon carbide flame filter.
It's fire-powered, which bothers some people but I never saw it as much of an issue.
I absolutely hated the Arizer Extreme Q. It's largely constructed of plastic, and the vapor literally tasted like plastic too. If you look on vape forums, a ton of people have had this problem.
>you have to be 21 though
fuck this shitty country
what about the grasshopper vape. I remember seeing a lot of hype about that a couple years back. is it a meme?
>I absolutely hated the Arizer Extreme Q. It's largely constructed of plastic, and the vapor literally tasted like plastic too. If you look on vape forums, a ton of people have had this problem.
Interesting, I have Extreme Q for few years now and have received nothing but praise for it. Maybe the built quality worsened over the years, which would be shame, because cost/effect ration was top notch for it.
It's gonna be legal in Canada, maybe I'll try it but I'm afraid I'll become addicted. I have no self-control when it comes to fapping so it's probably best to not even try it.
I never used it myself. But I do like the fact that it appears to be made almost entirely of metal, that it's made in the USA, and that it comes with a warranty. However, the price is pretty steep at over $200. I looked it up just now and got some sticker shock, because I was expecting something about a hundred dollars less.
It doesn't appear to have plastic parts (but I'd do more research to confirm this if I were you; maybe email them and ask). That's something that matters to me because I am concerned about endocrine disruption and other toxic effects of plastic fumes, not to mention it ruins the taste of the vapor. Vaping tastes good; that's a big part of why it's a lot better than smoking. Even the slightest plastic contamination ruins the flavor, in addition to potentially causing various health problems, which is also defeating a purpose of vaping.
So, anyway, that's about all I can tell you. Sorry I couldn't give you a review or anything but I never tried it. The only two vapes I've used are the Vapor Genie (pretty good, inexpensive, ridiculously simple) and Arizer Extreme Q (not good--unwieldy, way too many parts, and the vapor tasted and smelled like burning plastic).
Choosing to abstain is perfectly fine and honestly if you think your use of pot could become problematic, it may just be better to say no. Don't feel pressured to get high just because it's legal.
Yeah, a lot of people are happy with their EQ. But a lot of others have had the burning plastic taste problem. One guy even opened his up and found a melted plastic piece inside. Arizer tried to claim that this was mica, but mica doesn't melt at temperatures anywhere near what a vape should be heating up to, so this appears like it may be a case of dishonesty on Arizer's part.
This thread has some more info and some experiences. There are a bunch of other threads here and there on this topic elsewhere online.

If you are curious about it purchase an edible and try it. Edibles are way more fun than smoking it. One of the finest experiences in my life was taking an edible when I was 15 and getting so high that I had full on visual and audio hallucinations.
I do agree that edibles are way better than smoking, but sometimes if people get really high they get panic attacks and/or puke everywhere.
If someone who never tried marijuana wanted to eat an edible I'd recommend eating very little. Getting super high can be a really fun experience, or it can be a bad one if you freak out and get nauseous.
I use to smoke but I started getting really bad panic attacks and haven't done it again in about a year.
Marijuana dispensaries offer low dose edibles for people trying marijuana for the first time iirc and the person working there would be more than happy to offer OP dosage advise.
would benzos and marijuana be a good mix then if weed gives you panic attacks?
I don't like the idea of mixing drugs like that user.
Idk about benzos but i know using strains with higher cbd and lower thc can lower anxiety.
Yeah, that's a good point originally.
I really wouldn't recommend that. You could very easily get too fucked up and end up accidentally hurting yourself or doing something you regret. It's not worth it.
Trying a high CBD low THC strain is a MUCH better idea.
I've used strains before that didn't seem to give me anxiety. I think it was just bad weed, it had sticks in it and was pretty cheap.
the problem is though I now have an anxiety disorder so no matter what I smoke i'll always freak out.
So if youre on prescriptions for anxiety and depression weed is a no no?
I'm the exact same way. I usually have good experiences if I only use it like once a year or so but if I use it a bunch of times in a short time period the anxiety levels I experience when I'm sober or high are unbearable. Also I always feel so strange the next few days after I get high.
Look up the benefits of taking cbd pikachis (completely legal in america) and order some off of a reputable website. I wouldn't recommend smoking weed but taking cbd oil could help you with your anxiety.

nah I just cope with it without drugs i'm very much against them especially pharmaceuticals.

27 bloomer here, been smoking since I was 13. Makes my life bearable, I don't want to kill myself anymore.
Interesting. Wanting to kill myself is my problem right now. how often do you smoke and do you consider yourself dependent on it?
I don't smoke too much just a 1/8oz every few days.
I wouldnt say I have a dependentcy, if I feel okay I won't smoke that day.
>under 21
>onions meme
It's beginning to make sense.
>live in a shit hole in europe
>weed isn't even decriminalized yet
>americans can literally just walk into a pharmacy and buy it
you guys are so lucky
There are parts of the US that actually still consider cannabis use and possession a crime. It's not legal in ALL the states. Just about 20% of them (or for medical purposes with a doctor's approval, about half of them).
